More than two decades later, Meth is back with his fifth album, The Meth Lab, due out August 21 on Tommy Boy. An album-before-the-album of sorts (in advance of his long-anticipated Crystal Meth), the LP features contributions from Redman, Raekwon and Inspectah Deck, among others. Speaking with Nerdist, Meth acknowledged that Walter White and Jesse Pinkman slipped their way into his consciousness, and that he’s committed to shining a spotlight on his hometown. “[T]here’s a lot more talent to be heard from Staten Island outside of Wu-Tang artists,” Meth said. “I wanted to just give them a platform to be heard.”
I listened to the first two songs. Going to have to listen the rest later tonight, but I'm sure it won't disappoint.
Saw Mick Jenkins, Vic Mensa, G-Eazy, Partynextdoor, Goldlink, Flatbush Zombies and travis scott all DJ'd by Metro Boomin on Saturday. Was a very entertaining show. G-Eazy can straight up tear a stage apart. If you get the chance to see him live I recommend you take the opportunity

Lift Me Up and Norf Norf are incredible, and Senorita sounds so good within the context of the album.
