Agreed. Someone please cleanse us of these "people". Spoiler Fancy I actually support scooping and am myself a scooper. Follow me to safety.
As a west coaster I thought that ketchup on a bagel sandwich was a sin...until I actually tried it. When I decided to swap ketchup for bbq sauce I ascended to a new plane of existence. I am one of the initiated

lol i work in that building, its right next to court. its actually on the same floor as my firm's downtown office the building is majority chinese doctor's offices. i could not think of a more peculiar place to put an escape room type of thing but apparently it's really good
Got a date tonight that I'm lukewarm about. Need to pick a place in EV/LES for a casual beer. Proletariat is awesome but small. I'm saving the Roost/Wayland for a high level date next week. What else ya got?
It's so funny how we have these bar/date tiers. Roost/Wayland/Third Man are in my top level groupings as well. So far, I've taken lukewarm dates to The Whiskey Ward in LES, and Bar Virage, Immigrant Bar, Scratcher Cafe, and Bar Veloce in EV.
that's a good call. Might do that or 9th Ward. Got a Bumble match that, I believe, is pretty smoking. Immediately set up a date but I have to wait till next fucking Wednesday. She's getting the Roost/Wayland treatment
Beer authority on 42/8th isn't awful either for a decent date if they live in HK or midtown I'm across the street from this basement bar/Turkish restaurant that is really good too, they have little nooks and tapestries and shit
Shalel? It's great I had to stop going for a minute bc the bartenders gave me shit for bringing so many dates there Their vegetarian appetizer dishes, the dates, and the meatballs are really good
texting girl for tonight, this is our first date, and i'm very apathetic right now me: this place is solid, we should go here her: do they have food? me:
Never again. Story time: A younger, naive version of myself was there when I first moved to the city. My brother and I were playing beer pong against some B&T rats, and they were being incredibly rude. After she launched some incendiary comment at my brother I looked at her and said "was it tough finding a babysitter on a Sunday?" The look of horror on her face was delightful. Later she came and asked me why I assumed she had a kid and if it was because she looked old or something. I won the day.
Ohhhh, okay that makes sense, though I rarely get that on a bagel so when you say bagel I just assume cream cheese. Dennis likes ketchup on his BEC. Nooooo thanks.
