Blows my mind that you couldn't take her seriously. Highly respected actress and a decent possibility considering her accent and the fact that they've already poached several people on that show she's on. Guess I've never understood locking actors down to one role.
Desmond as Mance would make a man happy. Also, I always pictured Queen of Thorns as Betty White, even though i don't think she'd be a good cast. Strong Belwas really must be in the show and must do a doodoo on that poor fella.
Really curious to see how they cast Mance Rayder. Here's hoping it's someone high profile after killing off arguably the two most identifiable characters in season 1. Also, because Mance is awesome.
