That's my favorite part. At least he can't really get in much trouble. Just gonna get a lot of shit for it.
they just said vh3 is the guy basically dallas and san-d fucking shit up . I was sold on the main three but looks like we wil not get the chance to draft them. just a tidbit watch the contract workings of KELECHI OSEMELE and JANORIS JENKINS . I am told it balls to the wall this time . as you know WILKERSON and JENKINS are the prime targets in F/A. you might watch BOYKIN also ????????? if your looking at just a good DE in F/A ( if he does not re-sign ) watch MALIK JACKSON . AND ! AND ! speaking of JACKSON'S in the draft you might take a look at one WILIAM JACKSON CB - HOUSTON he is becoming a hot commodity - if he balls out at the combine it would be in his favor. ALSO ! The day before the combine starts one DAVION THOMPSON S BOISE ST is moving up .
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...s-leaving-denver-broncos-jacksonville-jaguars Malik Jackson says he will be signing with Jaguars
at least we don't have were eagles dare ruing this thred with constant auburn crap . man I am about ready to ban him . and I have never done that !
I've always been a Janoris fan(I was consistent in my shitting all over Dre Kirkpatrick vs him in the draft)...but the same thing that dropped Jenkins to the second round is the same thing that scares me when you talk about giving him a buttload of money in FA. He's a "character" risk and on the field has some consistency issues. He showed out quite a bit this past year, in a contract year(shocker), but the year and a half before that, he was regularly getting beaten.
Well, they need help at corner pretty bad and I think he's the best available option. I think one of the main attributes of Gus is that the guys love him and love playing for him. So I would have some optimism in him getting the best out of Janoris. He hasn't had any legal troubles since being in the NFL, has he? I may not be remembering something.
Doubt we get weddle, but Irvin seen likely. Throw some money at Vernon and this defense could finally become competent.
I could have sworn he caught a couple of games for weed early in his career, but I think I'm actually confusing him with Haden. Jenkins was in some "team" trouble his rookie year, but that was just typical rookie BS. Bringing him back close to home could be a concern, but he's supposedly a standup dad and role model now, so...who knows. Fuck it :makeitrain:
I was trying to prioritize this list and honestly I couldn't. We need so many pieces on defense and HAVE to upgrade the offensive line.
Like the action thus far. Hopefully we can grab Vernon and a safety. I'm not an enormous fan of Weddle. Would really like Gipson. Then grab an interior Olineman.
Looks like Irvin and Janoris both off the board, Oakland and NYG, respectively. Mack is still up in the air and Weddle seems to want to join a contender(openly pining for Carolina and New England).
Makes sense, I didn't know if it had to be spent prior to the season or just during the nfl fiscal year.
I think C is more important honestly. Cann and Linder is not a bad combo. Obviously need to get some backups in case Cann has a sophomore slump or Linder gets hurt again.
I love AJ Cann. He was so solid for Souf Cack, and he is such a good guy. He will have a long, successful career if he stays healthy.
He wasn't bad either, and was definitely not the weak link on the line. Need to get an edge rusher today or this FA is mostly a bust. We can't rely on just fowler and Davis for pass rushing.
Don't get me wrong. I think he will be a good player but last year was underwhelming. And this is the pros and you're a third round pick - you get thrown into the fire.
Right. Just sounds like some are writing him off already. Are the Jags going to look into getting someone to play LT or challenge Joeckel? I also saw where Miami signed Sam Young. Wasn't he the 3rd OT?
Sounds like they are sticking with Joekel. Yeah Young was but he was really bad. I assume we draft a developmental tackle at some point.
Agreed on Young. I would love it if the OT from Indiana fell to them in 2nd, but I think his combine performance probably got him drafted in the first.
Bryan Anger basically cut loose with the addition of a new Punter today. Yahoo Sports going in dry with the headline for it... "Jaguars replace the punter they drafted before Russell Wilson"
NFL.com mock draft. I know very little about most of these guys. Not sure how I would feel about Bullard in the second as we seem to have several of his type. I'd like this draft simply because we'd get a center and Myles Jack. Would also like McAlister in the fifth. 1. Myles Jack LB 2. Jonathan Bullard DE/DT 3. Graham Glasgow C 4. James Bradberry CB 5. Alex McAlister DE/OLB 6a. Avery Young OT 6b. Daniel Lasco RB 7. Ken Crawley CB
I wouldn't mind that class... I too am not sure about the Bullard pick there because I'd rather get Shalique Calhoun. Most mocks have him still there. I also thought they were sliding Linder to C? I would think that the Jags would go all defense.
