Listened to the Bradley conference call today because I'm a masochist. Him trying to explain having Poz lined up on one of the fastest receivers in the league was mind numbing. He basically said that it was unfortunate that it ended up being the matchup but that is a look that they like to give and it should have been taken care of with a safety over the top. Uh Gus they could have run any route in the book and he was going to be wide open. Basically had no answers as to if it was scheme or bad play why the underneath crossing routes were so effective. Gave the most bullshit answer ever when asked why Myles Jack is not getting more reps since Poz is clearly struggling.
Sound sounds like we should give him the rest of the season to figure it out. I'm sure that will work out just fine.
Chatted with Duval dad at our vodka release party last night. Really happy Duval overcame his early childhood gender identity issues. Never knew about that. Congrats brother.
Blood pressure is a little bit down from last week, expectations have plumeted off to typical jags level.
Skuta and Poz need to get off the field, we are playing with essentially one capable Lb at any given time. Put Jack in the fucking game and let him fuck up, can't be worse than Poz.
If that Allen robinson catch isn't a catch, they need to redefine the rule. Catches it, gets 2 feet down and falls to the ground, slides about 5 yards and rolls over, then DB rolls on top of him and ball slides out. They'll probably say no catch, but if that is true the rule really needs to be rewritten.
Two atrocious plays from Bortles. Can't check down or take a sack and he did both. Sack was awful bc he could have just thrown it out of bounds.
The sack was dumb because he didn't get rid of it, but watching the replay, he had nowhere to go with the ball either. None of the attempts looked like he ever had a window.
There is zero reason to keep Bradley, he is done. You have to fire him now. There is nothing to gain by keeping him as Hc.
I'm not a fan of mid season firings but we need a change. That sack is on Bortles though. He could have chucked it 5 rows deep and saved yardage and and timeout.
