I liked Arthur, but he wrote a 'letter' to Matt that seemed pretty douchey. It talked about how Matt was better than him(no fucking shit) and seemed rather self praising.
Missing FJs finally bites Matt in the ass even though that must've been only the 2nd or 3rd time he's even needed a correct FJ
some 8ft tall guy went blow for blow with him final round matt had 17,800, tall guy had 17,600 matt bet 17,401 on the final question, lost tall guy bet 2300 on final question, lost was pretty wild
The strategy behind that kind of FJ just astounds me. Matt wagers assuming everyone gets it right. Tall guy wagers betting everyone gets it wrong.
Kinda have to do that... the benefit of being in 2nd is either playing it safe or going all in... Matt, on the other hand, would look stupid if he only bet 5K and got outbid by the guy in 2nd, even though they both got it right.
The tall guy really had no reason to bet anything, it's basically a given Matt is betting it all in that scenario. You can't catch him so you just hope he misses. The questions were pretty easy today
the chick in 3rd had an idiotic strategy she couldnt catch them by doubling her score so you bet zero and hope they both go all-in in order to match one another. obviously it didnt matter but just terrible strategy
Loved Alex stalling for like fifteen seconds on Daily Double, he's miles ahead on game theory and buzzer timing but Matt has the knowledge edge.
I can't believe they all missed that. Slam dunk easy. I was shocked how simple the question was.... Maybe that threw them off?
I DVR Jeopardy and watch while eating dinner. Just caught the one where Alex wins before Final and says "What is Aleve" for his answer. Total baller move.
lol one of the questions just asked was something like " the census bureau considers this age 14 for boys and 16 for girls" and a guy rings in and says what is the age of consent.
Late pass but it looks like Liz is hiding some major hammers. Glad she won so I can continue to research this.
