I blame Rodgers. Also, for all the talk of Coutinho being a magician when was the last time he had an assist? Anytime he gets near the box he mostly looks for his shot.
@LFC: Liverpool FC has announced that Brendan Rodgers will leave his post with immediate effect: http://t.co/it2bKIJQbc http://t.co/M3Af12Xnk3
@AnfieldHQ: Graham Beecroft: I expect another announcement very soon from FSG. I believe it will be Carlo Ancelotti and not Jurgen Klopp. #lfc
Before the international break really starts is the best time. At least the guys not leaving can get some work in if they truly have the replacement in place.
Our roster fits better with Klopp's set up than ancelotti's. Really hope it's him but won't get my hopes up
God this is is going to be annoying until we actually announce the next manager. Jan Aage Fjortoft @JanAageFjortoft 2m2 minutes ago Am told, by my Germann source, that Klopp will be the next manager of Liverpool Footbal Club. #LFC
I guess we'll know soon but totally ЯЗД @totalitaran 10h10 hours ago This follow-up post says the information that Klopp & Buvač will take over came 'first-hand' from the Bosnian himself
In any other case, firing him after getting an away draw against a big rival would be strange timing.
It's hard to imagine that there would be any mutual interest between the parties in this scenario. Brendan thinks way too highly of himself to take the Sunderland job and Sunderland probably view him as a broken man not up to the task. It would be entertaining nonetheless.
@CorneySimon: A certain Carlo Ancelotti was in front of me going through passport control at Heathrow today. Coincidence? #LFC #Rodgers #theeaglehaslanded
LFC Globe @LFCGlobe 12s13 seconds ago Rick Parry is an 'unofficial' advisor for FSG and told them to go for Ancelotti over Klopp a month ago, FSG contacted Ancelotti who wants to LFC Globe @LFCGlobe 8s9 seconds ago come. Whether that has changed over the course of the month, others may know. But that was the position as of the 23rd of Sept, so our LFC Globe @LFCGlobe 6s7 seconds ago belief is that it's Ancelotti, unless they've made a u-turn on Klopp, as others are suggesting.
I don't know but intelligent decision makers wouldn't let one game stop them from doing what needs to be done.
Sure, but that guy said Klopp agreed to a 3 yr deal, before Rodgers was even fired. Not to mention most reports are pointing to Ancelloti now
Uh oh Graeme Kelly @GraemeKelly1 6m6 minutes ago @Jay_78_ may be right. Something has changed #Klopp is the man. Welcome. #LFC Graeme Kelly @GraemeKelly1 2m2 minutes ago FSG have listen to the fans apparently. #Klopp to change things internally. #LFC #CommiteeStay
It may be totally false but the article is from the newspaper in the hometown of Klopp's #1 assistant, Buvac and they claim the info came straight from Buvac. FSG are going to have more class than to name a replacement immediately (today) after firing Rodgers even if a deal has been done, which it probably has with someone. I'm just excited it looks to be down to Klopp and Ancelotti, I'm ecstatic with either. To get this done with so much to play for this season instead of waiting until Christmas is awesome.
Just strikes me that Ancelotti is waiting for the Roma job not pool. Klopp is a great fit also a big ol' fruit because he would like pool
I'm good with either. Happy to go with a known commodity instead of trying to find the next big thing.
