Former Liverpool left-back John Arne Riise announces retirement.

 

Brewitt was incorrectly listed by the club and has signed a new deal.

 

Sounds like Texeira off to Porto.

Also seems like Zielinski is happening eventually. Reportedly he's turned down moves elsewhere because he wants to be at LFC.

 

Who are the big targets for LFC this offseason? Seems like the Goetze stuff fell through, so I'm curious as to who the big splash signings could be.

 

He started a Europa game for us under Rodgers.

 

The big name moves they've been linked with (who knows how true) are Gotze, Dahoud, Tah, Mane. Early on there were linked with guys like Dembele and Sane but Dembele went to Dortmund and Sane is probably going to end up somewhere like City.

Leicester has first UCL match following our match. May change their lineup.

 

Who knows who will be in that team. If they sell Kante/Vady/Mahrez on top of not having a deep squad, they could be fucked. You need a big squad for PL, CL, and cups and they don't.

 

They also were incredibly healthy last year. Is that going to happen again?

 

Doubt it. Once adding in European games, they'll be well over 50 games/season. Cant do that with 13 players.

There are some nice Skrtel memories though... 8 years at the club. Hope he has success in Turkey.

Agreed. One game away from the value of the club probably being 75-100 mil more than now.

Just hope we do everything we can to help klopp this offseason.

 

That and staying somewhat healthy/injury-free. We may see that with no Europe this year.

 

No Europe means my expectation is 2013-14. Not sure that's realistic without a Suarez level player but system and recovery time should make up a little of that.
