Lallana is a fine squad player, think lovren can be fine too. Milner also a good squad player but at 150,000 per week he's probably the most expensive squad player in the world

Lallana is the only one I listed that I hesitated about. He seems to fit what Klopp wants with the pressing game and works harder than most when on the pitch. I just don't see where he fits in the shape of the team if we're set on 4-2-3-1 because of Firmino and Coutinho. Especially with Markovic back next season and Ibe/Ojo growing, not to mention who ever we might buy.

Lallana can play anywhere across the front 3. Can play in cup games, come off the bench, be a short term fill in during injury. Definitely has a place but hopefully not as a first choice in the starting 11.

Lazar Markovic is not for sale, and Liverpool will not accept a bid even as large as €25m for the Serbian 21-year-old, confirms Turkish newspaper Sabah.

They cite an unnamed club representative from Fenerbahce, whose quotes roughly translate as: “We tried to buy him at the beginning of the season, but they did not accept. Now, a €25m bid wouldn’t be accepted. They’re very pleased with his performance.”

There has to be some kind of beef with Klopp going on. Didn't Jurgen pretty much call him out for being a bitch in the media a month or two ago? Something about him needing to learn when he is hurt as opposed to injured.

Still trying to figure out what is going on in China. Tried to sign like 5-6 high profile players for them all to fall through and this pops up. 50m euro is sooo much for texeira

Ya there has been an obvious difference of opinion between the 2 about what it means to be fit to play. Gerrard also made comments a while back about how he had to coax Sturridge to play a few times during the 2nd place season when Sturridge thought he had slight injuries. Sounds like there have been issues for a while and Klopp is trying to put an end to it by testing Sturridge to see the best direction for LFC going forward.

Honestly if that's true fuck Sturridge. He's played 50% games possible for the club.

If he was healthy, BR would still be the coach.

I'm hoping this isn't true for his own sake.

Right, it's a choice. Be set for life financially or have a shot at playing in most likely one World Cup

He probably thought there was still a chance of going to Liverpool last week, that might have had something to do with it. In the end it is hard to fault someone for moving to China for a boatload of money as opposed to staying in Ukraine.

Interesting a senior figure at #LFC once told me Sturridge had a groin strain that travelled round his body but usually stopped in his head

If Sturridge has his feelings hurt then he can fuck off. He is obviously talented but he is making lots of money from the club while only playing in maybe 50% of the games. Get rid of Benteke and buy 2 first choice strikers. As someone said above, if he is ever healthy then great, we have a very solid back-up but we cannot count on him at all.

If he really is not playing even when he is healthy then he likely has zero respect among the squad. That is just some punk ass behavior.

Of the last 19 shots on target that Mignolet has faced in PL, he's conceded 12 goals. 63% of shots on target = goal
