So we spent a bunch of money Sturridge and Benteke to get two half players.

 

So consensus is we will suck on the field, but look sharp doing it.

Gomez is man of the match so far. If he keeps this up I don't see how he goes on loan. Could definitely push Moreno at LB. Pretty big kid.

Milner was the 2nd best player for me.

Good movement from both Ings and Origi.

Lucas looks to have gotten even slower (if that's possible). Looking like Gerrard at the DM position. Hopefully Can will be playing in this role over LL.

Brisbane obviously not world beaters but definitely have more quality than the Thai side. Making us work a lot harder and not letting us get as comfortable on the ball.
