City Watch @City_Watch Yaya Touré’s agent: In ten days we’ll have some news on his future. [FCInterNews] OptaJoe ✔@OptaJoe 3 – Manchester City have been outside the top four for just three days all season. Lofty. Zlatan on Pep "He had all these solutions for every team we played against, knowing exactly what we needed to do to win, exactly how he wanted it achieved. We could be winning 2–0 at half-time, but he would say, ‘We’re not finished here. I want three, four, five, six, seven.’ He was like a machine.” Also Richard Wright has retired.
I'm going to miss not being able to loan Richard Wright out on FIFA because he was retiring at the end of his contract the last 3 versions.
Yay nothing like signing a player that coming off a major knee injury. I am sure the medical staff will take great care of him like they have done with the numerous players that have been under their care this season. Spoiler We are so fucked. He is going to be the Roque Santa Cruz of this group.
sounds like yaya's agent is trying to wrestle more money out of inter City Watch @City_Watch 2h2 hours ago Toure has rejected the chance to become the highest paid player in the world and is determined to stay and work with Guardiola. [MEN] City Watch @City_Watch 2h2 hours ago Toure will also turn down a move to Inter Milan, with sources close to Yaya saying that the Italians would be wasting their time. [MEN]

Might as well admit it was mistake to let Dzeko go and bring him back. I would be pretty alright with that. Spoiler and by pretty alright with that I mean seeking medical attempt 4 hours after it was official

Nolito is a pretty unimaginative buy. He's pretty old, and he's never really proven himself outside of Celta Vigo. He's playing great right now though. Edit: On second thought, Pep will probably work wonders with him.
He's cheap though and still has a 2 good years in him I like the idea of him as a stop gap until one of the younger players are ready
Nice to see one of our African stars focus on the club instead of an international tournament for once.
Haha and searched his name on Twitter and first things popping up are that after this he left the club holding hands with Lionel Richie's 17 year old daughter who left with him
gundogan - is really good when 100% Nolito - goal scoring winger both signings are cheap Nolito will be good for depth purposes seems like good business
He's missed some each season but really just had the 1 year where it was a significant time frame and I think that was his spine or something
Signed some kid from the Ukraine via Russia today. So recap so far. Player that has missed time with a major back injury and is currently rehabbing a dislocated knee cap. A 29 year old winger A 19 year old from the Ukraine A sweetheart deal with Melbourne City because they need money for a player who will never see the bench in the PL. It is not wrong to think the coaching staff and youth team staff additions have been far more exciting. This window has been a major disappointment especially with all the huffing and puffing ahead of Pep arriving and how that was going to make it easier to bring in talent. Still some giant holes in the squad that need to be fixed quickly. Pretty damn hard to get excited about the signing of a 19 year old winger from FC Ufa. But hey at least one of our starting central defender did not get "food poisoning" and "faint" busting his head wide open while on holiday in Bali.
Agreed, not for consolation but what are the real impact signings so far? Kind of disappointed really overall Xhaka Mik Ibra (maybe for both, Wayne's pulling strings still and Mik needs to track back more than he scores) Mendy Nothing Tottenham Livid or Chelsea is impressive IMO. Belgian Bony, maybe? Both other than that it's been quiet. Let MU overpay and wait. Not that I have hope mind you, just that you still should.
City Watch says that the clauses we put into the Denis Suarez sale are still in place even with him being sold to Villareal and will possibly be paid still with Barcelona buying him back. €800k if he joins the first team and then €800k for every 10 appearances (up to the 100th appearance)
Pep is a pimp Pep Guardiola has Yaya Touré and Samir Nasri doing extra sessions because they are out of shape. [Guillem Balague on BBC Radio 5 Live]
Alvaro Negredo close to joining Middlesbrough on loan. I'll never forget his run of 10-15 games in the middle of the 2013-4 season. I don't think I've seen a player have a better run of form since I've been following City. Spoiler that was right before he got injured and then disappeared for 3 months
this leroy sane deal feels like isco all over again with bayern entering the picture at the last minute
