Expecting us to get things turned around some and start looking dangerous but so far we look like we would be lucky to walk out of here with a point
It's time for gross overreactions, I'll be projecting Michigan to the NIT after we lose to Sparty today as well.
We really love banging our heads against the wall trying the same thing over and over. Kola probably has 12 of the exact same crosses today, each more ineffective than the last.
Pep is reportedly going to make Suarez his top target come the summer. I don't want that dangerous bastard coming back to the league, he is as lethal as they come. The reaction from Pool fans would certainly lessen the sting a good bit, though.
So I have a couple of months to find a good message board defense for serial biting when he inevitably takes a chunk out of Smalling's forearm. Spoiler A rare form of obsessive-compulsive based Dermatophagia. He's a victim here guys.
You guys are looking pretty rough on the injury front for this weekend, huh? All of the stats heading into this one make it seem like a really favorable matchup for us, so I'm fearing the worst.
Story of the season so far, looking forward to Aguero pulling up while making a run sometime in the 1st half. I would actually prefer to see Celina/Nacho start with Silva being out, Celina was literally our only player that made an attempt to attack from the right last week and was a goal. Either that or push Tracy Chapman out a little wider and try to play the Navas role. If Pelle throws out the same lineups from the past couple of weeks, going to get worked. Still not sure on Kompany coming back, but I'd almost rather see Sagna at CB if he is out. Bony might get 30 minutes (oh boy). I'd be ecstatic to take a point, at home, which is a shitty feeling in February.
You guys are like us under AVB in regards to your record against the other top teams this season. Combine that with us not losing on the road since opening day, winning 4 in a row, and beating you 4-1 earlier in the season probably means we will end up losing.
Sagna and Delph (6-8 weeks) out now too. Kompany definitely will be back and sounds like Silva will give it a go.
I was hoping Kompany would only make the bench, he is a big difference when in the lineup for you guys. I'd really like our chances more if he isn't in the starting XI, hopefully he will be a bit rusty if included.
City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany (C), Otamendi, Clichy, Fernandinho, Fernando, Toure, Sterling, Silva, Aguero #cityvspurs #mcfc Subs: Caballero, Kolarov, Demichelis, A.Garcia, M.Garcia, Celina, Iheanacho #cityvspurs #mcfc
#THFC team: Lloris (c), Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose; Dembele, Dier; Eriksen, Alli, Son; Kane #COYS
Nasri, Bony, Sagna and Delph are all out. Kompany and Silva both just returned so one will reinjure themselves and not finish the match
Sagna has been really good this season. Agree on the rest though with Fernando starting I could argue Delph as well
With all the changes official now, not expecting this team to make a rally. Will be curious to see what Pelle does with the Chelsea lineup for Sunday, hoping he just says fuck it and saves up for Kiev.
