If Marvel ever gets F4 rights back, the first thing they need to do is try to get a collaboration movie arc going with Fox for an Onslaught saga. Remains my favorite comic villain/arc of all time.
Rewatched Raimi's first two Spider-Man films and they just shit all over the two ASM films. I had forgotten how truly great (not merely just 'good') they are. Would be awesome if Marvel can recruit Raimi to do an MCU movie.
Spider-Man 2 is up there with Avengers, Winter Soldier, and GotG for me. Spider-Man 1 isn't too far behind either. Alfred Molina just perfect casting as Doc Ock.
The problem with the Raimi Spider-Man movies is the fact that Tobey and Dunst had the chemistry of a wet bag of dogshit.
Which is not surprising seeing as they are two of the worst professional actors in the world. I was never all that crazy about Spider Man. But then, I always thought Captain America was a dick licker until he dove on that grenade in basic... My heart has belonged to him ever since. Winter Soldier was on TV last night. I watched it. Noticed they put lipstick on Evans in a lot of scenes, didn't mind. Wondered about myself a bit that I was looking that close at Captain's lips. Didn't mind that either.
Love Amadeus Cho though, technically, I think they placed him as 6th smartest behind MODOK and Leader (and the previously mentioned three). His comic book appearances are great, though. How he basically outwits everyone instead of fighting anyone.
He's the seventh smartest person in the world from his canon. So behind Richards, Doom, Leader, Stark, Pym, and maybe Beast?
I forgot what number he was but, per one of the latest episodes of Web Warriors (where Cho is in the Iron Spider suit), MODOK and Leader are the two immediately ahead of him. So I'd assume Richards, Doom, Stark, Pym, MODOK, Leader, Cho.
Would much rather see Andrew Garfield in the raimi films than that piece of shit. He did a better Peter Parker, for one thing.
I enjoy all three shows, but the first two seasons of Arrow is probably my favorite. unfortunately it kinda sucks lately.
Arrow is a CW show, and it really shows. So much unnecessary emphasis on love/family drama storylines. AOS>>>>>
Pretty much. Watched all of Daredevil and loved it. Watched most of season 1 of Gotham and lost interest. Batman without Batman wasn't doing it for me.
Is deadpool part of the MCU? Im guessing not since he was in the wolverine movie and colossus is in it. Also, the contest of champions game launched a deadpool special today. Two new characters they added to it are "old man Logan" and she-hulk. Any mention or rumor of either in the movie?
He's in the Fox Marvel Universe, which is the only chance of a proper Deadpool movie ever getting made.
I almost quit Gotham towards the end of season 1 as well, but it improved a ton in season 2. Joker comes to town.
I think Fox is pretending that Wolverine and The Wolverine never actually happened, particularly from a Deadpool standpoint. Also, I haven't heard about She-Hulk in the X-Men MCU so I think that was just a Kabam thing. Also, Deadpooloid looks hilarious.
She-Hulk, Red Hulk and A-Bomb are all on Disney's Hulk Smashers but that's different then their cinematic universe (since Spider-Man is on there too).
namely Lex Luthor's mansion turned literally anything else the CW could use it for in Arrow and The Flash.
Fox changed the UK release date at the last minute from the 4th (today) to the 10th. I am a hot little potato right now. And I'm coming back stateside next week so I don't even get it two days early now.
FX’s “Legion” pilot has found its leading man in Dan Stevens, Variety has learned. The “Downton Abbey” and “The Guest” alum will star alongside Aubrey Plaza and Jean Smart in Noah Hawley’s Marvel project, and previously announced cast member Rachel Keller. Production on the pilot is set to begin this March. Stevens will star as David, a haunted man diagnosed as schizophrenic at a young age who’s trying to find his way back to sanity. He’s about to give up when he meets the girl of his dreams. Plaza has been cast as David’s (Stevens) friend Lenny. Despite a life of drugs and alcohol abuse, she knows her life will soon turn around, which gives her the likeable energy of the impossible optimist despite her rough demeanor. Smart will play Melanie, a nurturing, demanding therapist with a sharp mind and unconventional methods. “Legion” marks a reunion for Smart and Hawley, who worked together on the most recent season of “Fargo.” Written by Hawley, “Legion,” based on the X-Men character who, in Marvel Comics canon, is Professor Charles Xavier’s mutant son. Though the project is currently at the pilot phase, given Marvel’s success in the television landscape, plus Hawley’s significant relationship with FX as creator of their critically acclaimed “Fargo,” “Legion” is already a hot project for the cabler. In addition to writing, Hawley will also serve as exec producer along with Lauren Shuler Donner, Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory and John Cameron. The pilot is co-produced by FX Productions and Marvel TV with FX Prods. handling the physical production. Up next, Stevens will star as the Beast in Disney’s live-action film adaptation of “Beauty and the Beast” alongside Emma Watson. Hawley is working on three more development projects at FX —“Cat’s Cradle,” “Hellhound on His Trail” and “The Hot Rock” — plus the upcoming season of “Fargo,” which was renewed for season three. http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/legion-cast-fx-dan-stevens-aubrey-plaza-jean-smart-1201697168/
