Going back and watching some of the Civil War lead up stuff/super cut trailers and at this point I'm convinced: 1. Cap dies in Infinity War 2. Probably does saving Tony 3. His last words will be "I can do this all day" 4. I will unashamedly weep like a child in the theater.
So how much of the Black Order will we see in Infinity Wars? They have been getting the traditional push of being in an animated series and in video games lately.
Cap dies saving Tony Tony dies saving Parker everyone weeps Falcon becomes new cap Parker becomes Iron Spider
who are all these fucking people? and when is this infinity war gonna happen? Thanos? The dude from guardians of the galaxy? Is he the ultimate bad guy? I need cliffs and cannot read this entire thread. edit: I know cap and tony. iron spider?
Iron Spider is still Peter (until recently in the comics). He's just wearing a hybrid type of armor as his suit built for him by Stark.
I watched a whole bunch of those youtube videos pearl linked. I feel like I know more than all of you now. fags
This is how it happens in the comics. I don't think they'll exactly go this way, but will probably be something similar in that he leaves his physical body once he's basically omnipotent. Zombie chick is a resurrected
Considering Hela's backstory in the comics combined with the fact they convinced Cate Blanchett to take the role, I really think she takes the place of Death when it comes to Thanos' motivations.
Also I love that, in the comics (to paraphrase), Thanos refuses to kill Deadpool because he doesn't want him hitting on Lady Death in the afterlife.
I'd love for the X-Force film to be some type of adaptation of X-Cutioner's Song. Introduce Cable in Deadpool 2, then just go nuts with X-Force.
Mark Ruffalo emphasized that by shedding some light on what we should expect from the 2017 release and what happens when the Jade Giant is paired up with his fellow Avenger. "It's an intergalactic buddy road movie with Banner and Thor. I think it will be smashing. You'll see a lot more Hulk. The Hulk gets Hulk-ier. The Hulk Hulks out. Hulk-ier and bigger." Talk then turned to Thor: Ragnarok's villain Hela, a character set to be played by Cate Blanchett. Not much is know about what we should expect from the Marvel Cinematic Universe's take on her, but Ruffalo was quick to drop a few hints about the direction things are heading in, and it sounds like bad news for this movie's heroes! "She plays the worst of the worst. So evil," Ruffalo teased. "She is going to kill us. It's such a great part she gets to play." Let's hope he's not being too literal there, eh?
Where do we find out that Hulk is off planet? It is mentioned in Civil War, but I don't remember seeing that anywhere else... Did I miss something?
More specifically, at the end of the funeral for a freak arc, Thanos curses him with life out of sheer jealousy (and I supposed because it allowed for completely ridiculous healing for the next writers) There's even a fantastic panel where Thanos has shown up at Death's "door" holding a bouquet of meteors that have destroyed worlds of more than one million inhabitants and is left wondering why she doesn't answer. Tangent, the entirely dialogue free first issue in the funeral for a freak mini is really really great. Deadpool stealing the infinity gauntlet is also an actual thing, and the Thanos copter makes an appearance there too.
I still want the set-up from AOU to come to fruition: Cap lifts Mjolnir, probably directly against Thanos right before getting murked.
The Mjolnir scene in AOU was fantastic. With that said, I wish Cap had never tried to lift it with everyone there, but, when the rest leave the room, he casually picks it up, flips it, and sets it back down before walking out of the room without saying anything. But we also would have lost the hilarious "an elevator isn't worthy" dialogue at the end of AOU.
They're going to have to drift away from the Thanos stuff you guys are describing, because most of it is ridiculous lmbo
Oh yeah, they're going to streamline a lot of it. No one honestly thinks we're going to get a Thanoscopter. Thanos is a very complex character. He isn't just a monster bad guy. He has a real range of emotions and complex motivations, but i expect after Ultron disappointing people with Spader's snark they will keep Thanos much more two-dimensional.
I hope they set up the Thanos/Hela obsession well so he's not just a Big Bad but a Big Bad with motive. The more an audience can relate to him, the better the drama.
I think how Gunn portrayed Thanos in GOTG was perfect. He's condescending and arrogant to Ronan because he knows how much of a badasss he is compared to him. He would've wiped the floor with Ronan even when Ronan had the power stone.
I believe I am subsidizing my wife's extended family's viewing experience on netflix. My wife password protected this shit about a month ago and I was lost trying to view non-netflix kids stuff. She wasn't answering texts either, and I really wanted to watch daredevil.
