nah, nothing in Agent Carter ties into AOS or otherwise, there are only a few cameo appearances by Peggy Carter in season 2 of AOS but nothing that would spoil anything.
all I can say is stick it out for the first 8 episodes, it gets WAY better after that. the first 8 is like...Smallville tier bad, maybe worse, it actually copied the shit format of Smallville's "freak of the week" story plot.
There's some cross over but like you said, nothing substantial (the facility post a Winter Soldier, Whitehall, Howling Commandos).
Ok so someone spoil part of season 2 for me. What the hell is up with the brunette (hunter's ex) and Mack?
Saw AoU again yesterday. Loved it again. Caught a few more things like the kid working the computer in the Helicarrier was the kid that refused to launch the Helicarries in CA2. Love Vision and everything they did with him.
Watched The Winter Soldier again last night. It has firmly cemented itself as my favorite Marvel movie.
Yep, I've watched it 6 or 7 times now. It plays like a really well done spy movie. You really don't even have to like superheroes to appreciate it.
I still can't figure out why "the real SHIELD" needed to create a new logo if they were in fact "the real SHIELD"
Coulson, Hunter, Fitz Sky and May are the best things this show has going for it 16 episodes into season 2. I still like it but the real shield story line annoyed me.
I feel like Hunter, Bobbi and Mack have quietly become the best characters in AOS, next to Fitz. The Coulson deadpanning everything imo is better in small doses like in the movies, but starting to get slightly stale in a TV show where he's the main character.
Grant Ward has become one of the best characters on the show since he went full heel. His character sucked before the Hydra storyline.
I agree. Ward is awesome now. I never have any idea what his character is going to do in a situation, which is fun to watch.
Yep, he's the only unpredictable thing about that show. They need to feature him a lot more in the upcoming season.
Ward is a great character, I still hate bad guys though. Mack is horrible, Bobbi is hot but her story like sucks. Simmons, well she's tolerable in doses.
They gave him some decent one-liners (like "I'm the guy who kills Gordon" in the finale), but I'm not entirely sure what his purpose to the show is, other than being a bitch to Coulson about stuff.
The shirt was enough to point out that you're a "nerd"....those hideous glasses were entirely unnecessary.
Just finished season 2. At first I was like "oh they are going to kill billions of people". Then I remembered how they said it was the metal that killed people. So I guess with it just coming out of water like that than it won't. Also I didn't like simmons but damn that was fucked up. Poor Fitz
Perhaps we get a trailer attached to Ant-Man (leaked the week of) Ryan Reynolds @VancityReynolds #Deadpool has been a privilege to make. And we got to make this film because of you. Gonna eat a samich now. #wrapped
PoppaR finally got around to watching CA:WS last night, could have sworn he had seen it before guess not. Told him you need to see AoU now. Well needless to say we went and saw AoU this afternoon. Saw it originally in Imax 3D, but standard theater this go around. Pretty much solidified I wish they had just released an Imax version without 3D. I think it was just as strong of a viewing the 2nd go around though.
Wrote an article about RDJ and posted the link on my twitter. I check it this morning and it says "Robert Downey Jr favorited your tweet" and "Robert Downey Jr retweeted your tweet" and then I blacked out. When I came to I realized it was a fansite-run twitter acct.
Slowly making my way through Daredevil, really enjoying it, glad to see they didn't shy away from the violence and disturbing imagery. Very interesting to see all the threads they are weaving together, I did not do any reading about the character or anything from the comics so I could view this fresh, so I have no idea where its going, but I'm enjoying it even more for that
