And if you remember at end of cap 2 she went to the hearing and basically told the govt committee to fuck off.

In the comics she was injected with the Soviet Union's version of the super soldier serum. In turn, she's far older than she appears. This post didn't answer any of your questions, I was just making a statement

I think Vision/Jarvis will go to Stark's side.

I think BP will be on Cap's side since Stark sold weapons to Klaw.

Another rumor going around Civil War

    Ultron ain't dead

    Mark Ruffalo disagrees:

“If Robert Downey, Jr. says I’m in ‘Captain America,’ I’m in ‘Captain America’ dammit. And I will wait for the day that my call sheet shows up at my doorstep or my script. At this point, I’m told that I’m in it by Robert, which I’ll take as biblical, but I just haven’t heard or seen from production yet.”

I could see Hulk being a cameo but he won't have a big role if he's in the movie. There's been zero reports of Ruffalo on set and principal filming is pretty much done.

I actually hope he's not in Civil War and winds up in GotG2

If it's true, wonder if Thanos gets a hold of Ultron? Later on, Ultron becomes Anti-Hero to help defeat Thanos?

What if something happened to his family because of a super power person? That would certainly change his view on registration.

Question with how they film, if only Hulk is in Civil War, don't they really only need Ruffalo for voice work?

In the MCU we've seen Stark announce he's Ironman and gave the proverbial finger to the government regarding his technology. I don't see how he would be anti-registration (even ignoring the comic storyline), more so I don't see how Cap could run the pro-registration side.

I think this will be more philosophical. Both Stark and Cap have exposed identities. They have nothing to personally gain or lose from a registration.

But philosophically, Cap is opposed to it (because freedom, and distrust in government after Cap2). Stark is naturally for it because he feels responsible for Ultron. He's going too far in the other direction, thinking with his heart not his head. Classic Stark.

I just finished it and this is what happens.

I would be surprised if Black Panther is pro-registration, but that is because he was so against it in the comics.

The only reason I thought/think he would be is because someone defecting from the Pro side is one of the key elements to the story. I expect that to be an element in the film.

I just don't see it being Spider-Man. Maybe Rhodey? Or Black Panther being Pro to start has something to do with Wakanda?

In the comics, there was a large loss of life event caused by superheroes. In response, the government felt secret identities protected superheroes from legal prosecution when they make mistake to that degree. Therefore, they passed a law requiring all superheroes to register their true identities. The main twist (which they pulled off really well), was Tony Stark, who usually flips government the bird, supported the bill, while Captain America, often viewed as a government puppet, railed against it and went underground. Superheroes chose sides and they went to war.

Now, outside of Netflix and Spider-Man, there are no secret identities in the MCU. Therefore, it's most likely a worldwide organization will be created that superheroes must answer to. Post credits scene in Ant Man mentioned "The Accords," so those will probably be part of that.

There is a wing of the National History Museum devoted to Steve Rogers in the MCU. Hawkeye has never covered his face. I don't think who they are outside of the Avengers is any big secret.

Other than Cap figuring it out, isn't The Winter Soldier a 'masked' character in the MCU?

It's possible Cap wouldn't want Bucky persecuted for the actions of the Winter Soldier while being controlled by Hydra. He's going to want to protect his friend and his friend's identity from public scrutiny.

The MCU has done a fantastic job laying the groundwork for the Civil War storyline (and however they're going to tell it).

Like someone said above, it's tough to do masks vs unmask but government registered heroes doing missions for the government instead of the entire world fits the universe they've created.

IMO, any agents of SHIELD are still "Company men" and will agree with the Accord.
Hulk and Thor will probably stay out of it just because I can't imagine how they'd be involved unless we have another Hulk vs. Hulkbuster scene.

In the comics, Thor was too busy/dead with Ragnarok to be involved in the Civil War, IIRC and Hulk was off planet?

This could be the reason for the Civil War, The Accord may want the Avengers to exterminate the Winter Soldier, while Cap is opposed to it and instead wants to help Bucky find and get rid of Hydra.

    I like it.

The Accords may require Bucky to pay for his crimes while acting as the Winter Soldier, but Cap obviously wouldn't be down with that at all.

They also set the tone in Cap 2 Steve wouldn't want to work for another government agency after SHIELD proved to be so corruptible.

They did have a Thor AI who ended up killing a guy. Doubt they will end up doing something like that in this movie. Too bad they don't have Reed Richards in this universe.

It was always pretty hard to believe that Gambit was actually being made, but the main reason for it happening was no doubt Channing Tatum. It was the passion for the character he expressed in interviews which actually landed him the job, and he's since appeared at Comic-Con to hype the movie and has even talked about the way he's preparing to play the fan-favourite Cajun mutant.

Well, the project is now in jeaprody as The Wrap reveals that his deal to star in the movie is close to falling apart, and insiders tell them that director Rupert Wyatt will soon be looking for a new leading man (which means that the studio won't scrap the project altogether). Fox has even been testing young actresses to star in the movie alongside Tatum - including Spectre's Lea Seydoux - but sources claim that "something is up" with his deal. The site points out that there's always a chance that this can be resolved and that the actor may stay on as a producer, but it's currently not looking good.
