Ok fine they get a pass this time. They typically have one of the worst attendance numbers in the league and they even made the playoffs last year.
Fan support is typically pretty meh except for the supporters clubs unfortunately. However we have been under tornado warnings and a ton of thunderstorms most of all day today and more of the same tonight going into tomorrow as well. Which explains why even the supporters areas are bare. I wish more of the 7.5 million in the DFW area would attend games especially with such a high Hispanic/Latino community but people just don't attend matches even with a fun and really exciting side.
Frisco. But same difference. That's really the main reason. Move FCD to the cotton bowl and attendance probably raises immediately. Toll roads in to Frisco, 30 plus miles from downtown Dallas or the mid cities where a huge number of people live. No public transportation. Just stupid placement. Oh well at least I will always be able to to grab tickets and we have a good youth program and Pareja has done great things for us. Shouldn't drop off anytime soon.
Yeah it's really strange. Jesse went off with Mexico U-21 during the break and Seitz essentially just took over and Pareja has never gone back to the seasons starter. The only real blemish was the Dynamo match and other than that he had played well.
18th minute Houston keeper is shown red and a penalty is given for taking down Higuain in the box. Worst part is flat originally was up but the ball was played back by a Houston player
So yeah MLS live is using the TSN stream. Can't seem to get a good HD feed and they seem to be piping in so much crowd noise that it drains out anything their analyst are saying. Nice to see Tesho get the start in Canada.
Jesus Christ that's some poor keeping causing an OG by punching it off your own team mate. Cmon FCD get it together.
I haven't watched that much MLS this year but I seems like each one that I do watch sets a new standard for horrible officiating.
Yeah terrible miss call and should've also been a yellow, which would've been that SJ player's second.
Lol at the ref blowing right by the SKC coach while walking off the field. Barely shook his hand and wouldn't even look him in the eye. He knows how bad he fucked that game up.
GFY MLS. Thanks for missing every single fucking call you're asked to make, refs. This season has been heinous.
I hope that the USL Pro 2nd Teams start paying dividends for MLS. I really like what a lot of teams are doing with them. Red Bulls II squad is basically all under 24. They are starting Home Grown players and 2015/2016 Draft Picks that otherwise would be sitting the bench in MLS. It is getting players in professional environments under the teams control. Some likely would have went/stayed in college otherwise as well. Tyler Adams is playing there as a 17 year old. Derrick Etienne is 19. Alex Muyl is 20. Some have bounced up/down from Red Bulls. Galaxy II has a similar set-up with guys like Jack McBean, Ariel Lassiter, Bradford Jamison IV, Oscar Sorto. There would not have been a lot of options for these type players 3 years ago. They had some loans, but the team lost control of the players. Youth Development in the US and MLS have a long way to go, but really the affiliation with USL Pro has been a positive.
Oalex Anderson on Seattle was signed by Seattle's USL team last season and then was signed to the main club this season.
Ugh, 2 of last 3 games give up a late equalizer on road. Got to get a few wins in next 3-4 games to get back on that line.
