Yeah for sure. Bring your own liquor or beer in a backpack because lines can be long. But ditch the lady and go solo
Was in Atlanta yesterday and the only thing about Nashville I would change to emulate them is that age of consent game
I suppose this is as good a thread as any for Graham Greene talk since the book board ruined all book talk...anyways... Cornelius Suttree ...getting around to The Quiet American and The Comedians after a hiatus...what GG do you recommend beyond(here's my ranking so far)...1a A Burnt-Out Case 1b The Power and the Glory 3 Our Man in Havana 4 The End of the Affair I'm halfway through TQA and I'm pretty sure it will be at least 3rd...read a page or two of The Comedians and I suspect it'll be top 3-4 as well...any comments or further GG recommendations?
Colin Firth reading The End of the Affair has popped my gf's GG cherry Don't understand why he isn't more famous

It looks like there will finally be an Indian option on the east side of town, as East Bollywood Indian Vegetarian restaurant is in the early stages of getting up and running. According to The East Nashvillian, restaurant owner Karin Dicker currently has a contract on the property at 2521 Gallatin Road, next to FooBar, with plans to open sometime in the spring of next year. She also plans to open a separate bar concept there called The Opium Den.
Ft Campbell to see a reduction of 350 troops over next two years. It had the potential to be thousands so that's really great news
http://nashvillepublicradio.org/post/new-nashville-street-thats-not-really-designed-cars how do you guys feel about this kind of bike lane? also, have you guys seen the stairs from Demonbreun to the Gulch? or the new park under a Church Street underpass thing? haven't laid eyes on these yet https://instagram.com/p/42KnJHTK7N/?taken-by=nashvilleguru
T Those stairs are part of the new 1201 demonbreun building, not just a random set of connecting stairs... But it's still pretty nice

Katie Hill served as press secretary for Jim Cooper from around 2011-2013. She's going to be assistant press secretary at the White House. More Nashville people on CSPAN
so Willy Daunic is going to take over play-by-play duties for Preds TV broadcasts with Pete Weber getting relegated to radio duties Willy is a boss so I'm happy for him. He is really smart and hardworking so I'm sure he'll do a great job http://www.ontheforecheck.com/2015/...unic-switching-roles-for-predators-in-2015-16
Seems as good a place as any to post this. The woman and I got a weekend off to ourselves and came up to gatlinburg. The cabin we got is the shit and only $400 for 3 nights. Check out this porch view from this place, you would never guess we were anywhere near the shit show that is gatlinburg.
Madison drug deal goes bad; suspect, victim pushed off cliff Man shot, killed while standing in Hemritage garage Man stabbed in south Nashville Those are some headlines on WKRN.con Used to be a quaint city we had here. Elect Trump to clean up this mess!
Megan Barry got the endorsement from The Tennessean http://www.tennessean.com/longform/...07/12/nashville-mayoral-endorsement/30017989/ freeman didn't make their top 3
also, David Fox is getting outside Conservative-Super Pac money placing ads for him http://www.tennessean.com/story/new...e-super-pac-bankrolls-ads-david-fox/30081293/
I find it interesting the individuals on that editorial board have combined to live in this city for like 9 years. That endorsement means shit accordingly But at least it wasn't for Freeman
I'm voting for Kane but would be happy as long as its not Fox or Freeman. Quit trying to buy the mayoral election you douche bags
They are all on campus here at VU on the 16th I'm going to rip into Freeman and I want to present Kane with a gift basket I know Kane would like to decriminalize weed. I'll have to ask Barry about that
Barry, in backing the decriminalization of small amounts of marijuana, said that African-American men are affected the most by arrests
I'm giving blood at 5 this evening over at the Red Cross They seem to have a pretty constant need for blood donations if anyone has some they would like to share
There is now a traffic light at Brookwood and White Bridge Rd by the Target parking lot across from Jersey Mike's. That's a good addition because it was almost impossible to turn left on either side there The nurse who drew my blood is damn lucky the movie The Purge isn't real because I would be doing some terrible things to her during that week of anything goes
went to Jack Brown's Burgers and Beers. Cool place, a big backyard, although mainly unused. Small patio and inside. Burgers were fucking good, fries too. Service was weird. They don't have sections, so like 5 different waitresses came and tried to take our order for like 20 minutes. it was weird. just got a regular cheeseburger and it was really good. 100% wagyu beef, steamed bun. pretty tasty
