Minnesota is enormous. I think Minnesota is probably better equipped to deal with size than any team in the league
Sadly, as a Boston hater, I'm left to cheer for Denver now because they're the only ones with the size and experience to beat Boston's clear level of talent. Assuming both teams are healthy, Denver is the only team I have faith in keeping everyone from having to endure a Boston title. What little resistance the east posed is almost entirely out the window from injuries.
Who knows how long Porzingis is out for, and we've seen Boston completely crumble in crunch time how many times now? Those guys are mentally fragile front-runners. I legitimately believe any of the top 5 in the West would give Boston all they can handle.
Disagree, three teams would give them problems. I feel like they’d handled the clippers and mavs with relative ease
I'm just not sure anyone really handles Playoff Luka with ease. But we agree on the overall point that we're not reliant on only Denver to stop Boston.
that series was Denver’s C game and they still won in 5. the constant close margins has to make decision making for LA a little harder. Ham will probably be the fall guy but it could be as simple as one of your stars being almost 40 while Denver’s are in their prime
This version of the clippers for sure. Disagree on the Mavs though. If it gets into a shootout, I think the Mavs win that. Boston has too many 4th quarters of offensive stagnation.
Nah they will because they’ll focus primarily on the games until we get to the conference finals. Im tired of fucking hearing these folks spend HOURS running their fucking mouths about two teams (golden state and LA) who’ve pretty much had no shot in hell winning the fucking title all year. OKC, Minnesota, Denver, New York etc… just vastly more interesting stories sports wise. I’ll be a happy man if I never have to hear about either of those fucking teams again
Almost every time because Denver just kept pushing the envelope about how long they could wait before trying. And they found out "down 20 in the third quarter" wasn't too long in game 2, but "down 17 with 5 minutes left in the game" in game 4 was a bit much.
Has no one told the voters that stevens hired a total dummy of a head coach that only had a record setting season?
Lakers were big and physical, played some really good defense for long stretches, and also hit a bunch of big shots down the stretch in multiple games. Denver is just on another level in crunch time. I don't think Denver played great overall but I also think LA is just actually good and we should throw them in the, "West team that could beat Boston" bucket
Obviously they can't literally beat Boston since they're eliminated I just want to pile on the net rating frauds
His first coaching hire got fired for sexual impropriety in the workplace, I guess liking The Town instead of developing a personality is an upgrade
The devine as a Mazzulla stan plot that has developed this season was kind of out of left field but I am enjoying it
He should be criticized. He calls himself the goat. Simply saying many times Lebron has pushed for most of the decisions to be made and people blame either the coach or front office instead of the one making the decisions. Also the wolves are about to beat the Nugs
It took an historic 3 point shooting outlier for Miami to squeak one out, LAL and denver don’t have that kind of juice
