My usual go to for Narco news http://www.borderlandbeat.com/2023/01/live-update-ovidio-guzman-lopez-el.html?m=1
Some of these videos are in the link that mc posted If you click on the first and last one there are videos
I guess some Honduras drug kingpin was killed in jail a while back. His wife was then executed a couple days ago. Yikes.
I think so. There's another video that shows the wife getting out of the car with the two bodyguards after they pulled up to the bakery or whatever. I don't think I ever saw that older woman until it switches to the camera inside of the store. Here's a link to the longer video but it's on theync so there's obviously a bunch of other weird shit on the page -- https://theync.com/deceased-traffickers-wife-bodyguards-executed-at-a-bakery-full.htm
I know I’m not supposed to read the comments but I did and yea they were horrible but it also seems like they didn’t kill the older woman. And the outside video reminded me of Mr Wick and Francis were he just takes the security guard’s gun and let’s him live.
So I'm in Juarez last night and see this guy splayed out on the road. Obvio hit but the news is claiming suicide by running into traffic. I know what I saw but wtf, I hate the damn police in Mexico sometimes.
Was she still involved in the drug trade? If so, deserved it. I've got no sympathy for anyone involved in this shit.
For reference, this guy banged a dudes wife and was told not to play. He cancelled the concert and showed up anyway. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sergio_Gómez_(singer)
Going to punta mita this weekend. Zero Peso Pluma will be played… not that I know his music. Been blasting el sonidito as a nice throwback to get me in the mood for the trip but it gets annoying quickly. El pato - can’t remember are you in El Paso or something and just go back and forth a lot? I’m in Houston but have a lot of friends here that are from el paso and they’ve all got their fun stories but all good dudes.
Yeah, I don't go as much now since they make it such a hassle to get back. But I love the culture of the city and the food is insane and insanely cheap
Whoa Less than 4 percent of criminal investigations are ever solved in Mexico, studies show, and about 92 percent of crimes went unreported in 2022. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/20/world/americas/violence-mexico-killings.html
I spent much of the last decade working for one of the largest companies in Mexico/Mexicans within that company. They have an enormous sense of pride for their heritage, but they 100% want to live in the U.S. due to stats like that. These guys used to drive from the U.S. to their hometowns in Mexico overnight, but have since switched to only daylight hours and if they are taking kids they fly. Really sad....some of the smartest and absolute friendliest people I've ever worked with...but, they are disgusted with the violence and lack of control of where they grew up.
let them know it’s not that much better here. Crime is under reported here and when reported it mostly goes unsolved. I think only 11% of reported crimes end in arrest and of that only 2% end in conviction.
