Too little, too late for us but I'd love to see a perfect finish from these last 4 matches. No harm in going for it. Too bad Montreal is in impeccable form now that Drogba is hitting a stride.
Montreal beat Chicago 2-1 tonight. Impact are now 4 points ahead with 2 matches in hand. Toronto are 5 points ahead with 1 match in hand.
Maybe chasing Montreal should not be the goal. It would be nice to knock Toronto out of the playoff spots.
Matches that matter today. 2pm Toronto hosts Chicago. Toronto have not beat Chicago since 2010 (0-6-6 in that span). Chicago has not won a road MLS match since 7/12/14. 5pm Montreal hosts DC. DC can go into 2nd place in the east with a win. The last matchup between these two gave the world the greatest shot chart in the history of MLS. Montreal took 26 shots to DC's 1 and lost 1-0. Spoiler
They are acting like this a big story. I thought it was widely known that he was not going to play on turf.
Starting 11 Hall, Ramos, Redding, Collin, Shea, Mr Morgan, Ceran, Neal, Kaka (C), Rivas, Larin. Huge ask of Redding to deal with Drogba of he plays. He trained yesterday and arrived in warmups today.
This is not going to end 11v11 Not sure how the ref kept hs card in pocket. Having to be dragged away by your teammate while yelling at the ref is discent by any definition.
Best atmosphere of the season and it was not even close. Live to see match against City Lite mean something. Maybe not as Montreal will play their two matches in hand.
Rafael Ramos was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center last night for treatment of a facial laceration and head injury. He was released last night and will have follow up evaluations throughout the week. Tommy Redding was evaluated and monitored by OrlandoHealth Sports Medicine staff last night for a concussion and was ultimately sent home to rest. He will undergo follow-up evaluations throughout the week.
It might matter though. In order for the suspension to count he has to be available for selection next week. So if he is playing with Brazil, then he's not available for selection and the suspension won't count until the following game.
He would be available for selection as the FIFA dates end on the 13th. Still would be tough to see him try and play on 2 days rest.
Is that the new rumor? I saw the click bait links on my FB feed about the next European to play alongside Kaka but I refuse to click on those things.
Ibra strolling around town would make me so happy. How much money does Flavio have? I am ok with him spending like a drunk Russian billionaire.
Would rather spend that money on another attacking mid preferably a former treble winner of Dutch nationality who is currently in Turkey.
Inchy isn't a defensive coach. I think our best defense is to allow Brek/Ramos/Ashe/Boden/whoever to push up as fullbacks and have Higuita/Carrasco/Ceren overlap as cover. We might could improve on a center back but I like Collin and Mateos right now.
Pretty straight forward in terms of the playoffs. Must win against NYC and at Philly to have a shot. Montreal can only get 1 point from their two matches (at New England and vs Toronto). We can pass Toronto but they would need to lose their remaining three matches for that to happen. Matches of interest this week. Toronto vs NYRB Wednesday 7pm Orlando vs NYC Friday Toronto vs Columbus Saturday 2pm New England vs Montreal Saturday 730pm There is a scenario that we could catch Columbus and/or New England but it would require them losing both their remaining matches big and Orlando winning big to make up the goal differential.
Yeah you guys would have to completely collapse to miss the playoffs. Right now your GD is -2 and City's is -10. It would take us laying out of a couple of muti goal beatings and you guys getting beat by multiple goals each match for it to happen.
I'm hoping midweek that NYRB beats Toronto, then if we can beat them we will have almost locked up top 4. To get top 2 we would need DC to drop points at home against Chicago so I'm pretty much ruling that out
Not yet. Obv. we need to keep winning and hope that Montreal, Toronto, and I think DC keep losing. I'm not sure anymore on all the different scenario's but we will need some help from those teams.
Columbus and New England remain as scenarios with major swings in goal difference and us winning both plus either of them losing both. Toronto and DC are officially in. Montreal exists where we win both and they only get 1 point in their final 2 games.
He wears the club shop, He wears the club shop, Anthony Pulis wears the club shop just like daddy. It is official now. Orlando City B will be playing at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne.
Also thanks for nothing New York New Jersey. I hope you lose the supporter shield and that sweet Champions League spot that goes with it now. Way to let a guy who just got off a 10 hour flight 3 hours before kickoff jitter bug through the defense and score the death punch.
