The fiance is out of town and I've got nothing going tonight, thinking about grabbing a ticket last minute and heading out there tonight.
It seems that we will see the NYC nursing home trio tonight. It will just feel right going back to hating Frank Lampard after last year's weirdness when he was with City.
Projected 11 for tonight. Hall; Ashe, Hines, Collin, Bodz;, Sev, Higgy, Rivas, Neal, Winter; Larin RB and the partner for Collin are the question marks. Ceran might get the nod over Neal but Heath will go to his trusty option imho.
Can't believe we're in this position. A month ago, the delusional fan in us was calculating the scenarios and this one was the only one that kept springing forward. We've actually kept our end of the bargain now. Come on, you fucking Revs. Beat the brakes off of Montreal.
Final in New England. Montreal 1-0. Playoff chance is now at .01%. Need a New England loss at NYC next week and make up the 8 goal differential. If it ends level on goal differential; the next tie breaker is goal scored which we would hold.
Not saying that it will happen next week but Red Bulls are currently up 3-0 on Philly 17 minutes into their match........
Fuck. Confirmation that Tally is out of next Sunday. Surgery on the same knee that he tore the ACL in last season. No Edwards either. It is Josh Ford time. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/spor...all-surgery-out-for-season-20151018-post.html
- Tally has torn meniscus in his surgically repaired knee. It is highly likely that he will be ready for the preseason. - Larin and Rivas made the MLS Team of the Week. - One of the worst kept secrets will become official on Tuesday at noon. Orlando will have a women's team playing next season in the NWSL.
Yeah.....I know the logo is suppose to be a fountain but I will be damned if that is not a squirting robotic looking nipple.
Yeah that is going to happen. Sermanni was already talking about managing superstars. Already figuring that Ashlyn Harris will be brought in to be the keeper. There are several players on the U23 roster from Florida so I am sure they will be targeted as well. The name that I am surprised that has not been mentioned yet is Marta.
Got to give Phil and company credit. You would have been crazy to think 3 years ago that we would have an MLS, NWSL, and a reserve/development/USL squad all under the same umbrella. There is a buzz about it and it is positive.
No crazy lineup to start. Paul Tenorio @PaulTenorio Orlando City starting XI: Ford; Boden, Hines, Collin, Shea; Cerén, Higuita; Rivas, Kaká, Winter; Larin
lol "special announcement" tomorrow at 2pm for the Orlando Pride. Looks like they are going to sell the farm to get Alex Morgan. Very costly move for a player that is going to miss a large part of next season.
Largely didn't matter. We weren't budging from 7th in the east without a miracle from NYCFC anyway. Good first season, not great. Inchy dug his way out of the shit and proved to be a capable coach aside from the strange lack of or last-minute subs at times. Our lack of depth was disturbing all season and ultimately lost all of July for us. At least we seem to have found proof that Rochez and Rivas have pulses. Wish they'd shown up in March. Now to the offseason. What moves do we make? Keep: Larin, Kaka, Rochez, Rivas (please buy these 2 down to non-DPs), Higuita, Ceren, Carrasco, Winter, Heath, Boden, Collin, Ramos, Turner, Hall, Molino, Neal, Hines, Ashe, Shea Fuck off: Cascio, Avila, Bedell Don't really care one way or another: Keepers not named Tally, Mateos, Ribeiro Move to OCB: Rivera, Estrela, Donovan, Redding, Mwanga Did I miss anyone?
Morgan is now official. Kaylyn Kyle and Sarah Hagan join Morgan as the first 3 members of the Pride. Also the unprotected list was released today. Can only take 2 US allocated players (denoted by the USA by their name). Harris will be one for sure. http://www.nwslsoccer.com/scripts/runisa.dll?M2:gp::73928+L3/Display+E+NDX+NDX+898183 Might get your wish as Kreiger was left unprotected.
Taryn Hemmings. That is how you pick in the expansion draft. No big surprises in the draft. Harris the big name of course.
Catch up on the news this week. Trying to find out about more about Armando Carneiro who was hired as Chief Football Officer (Director of Football but only a stupid American name). Just asked someone with knowledge of Portugal football about him since everything here has been fluff pieces. Tenorio is doing a positional breakdown and outlook for next season. Forwards comes tomorrow. Keeper: Hall and Edwards Jr staying. Ford is out of contract and not likely to come back. Mentioned bringing in a veteran keeper if Hall is not ready for the season or planning on sending Edwards Jr to OCB. Will/could sign an academy product Mason Stajduhar to be the 3rd keeper and play at OCB next season. Defender: Ashe is out of contract and likely gone. Turner, Donovan, and Redding look destined to OCB. He threw the name Omar Gonzalez out of there as a possibility. Also talked about the club possibly shop Collin around because of his contract. Highlighted the need for a veteran RB to help push Ramos. Also a veteran CB. Midfield: Starting 5 is pretty set right now. Higgy/Ceren with Rivas/Kaka/Molino ahead of them. Winter, Neal, Ribiero, and Carrasco to provide depth. Looking to acquire another defensive mid. Mentioned the club trying to acquire Dax (a pipe dream if you ask me). Cascio (Who was he again) being gone along with Avila returning to Santos Laguna as his deal was a 1 year loan agreement. Heath and Estrela with his hedge row haircut going to OCB.
Can agree with all of those outgoings. Cascio couldn't help us at all and Avila wouldn't. Would cum buckets if we had Omar and Mateos in the back. Dax isn't gonna leave NYRB. He's a cult favorite and knows it. We might could use a little more depth in the midfield though. Starting 5 is strong in my eyes.
Updated renderings with additional seating. Should be fully enclosed now. http://www.cityoforlando.net/city-p...oads/sites/27/2015/11/ARB2015-00071report.pdf
So is OCSC trying to gain momentum before the start of the season with their Lake Nona plans? I know last year there was a ton of buzz but I'm not really hearing anything a month out. Has the staffing issues bogged them down?
I think we've moved on from the front office fiasco. The training facility is good news in the wake of realizing we won't have our new stadium until 2017 kicks off. Bendik signing got quietly swept under the rug for some reason. Hopefully Nocerino comes in and we get some hype rolling into March.
