I'm not a Badou Jack guy at all. He does have some power and can land a big bomb, but I like Dirrell's chances.
Must have been weird for you tonight to not have one of your messican or Irish countrymen embarrassed by the long dick of America.
he ran for the first couple rounds and then walked Garcia down and punished him. Garcia threw a lot of low blows too
He ran for the first 6-7 rounds. He didn't throw anything while Garcia did when he was being "chased".
Don't really see any reason for Lamont to complain. Being a known cheater, I also have no sympathy for him, fuck him.
Amir Khan vs. Chris Algieri on May 29th at the Barclays Center on Spike TV as a part of Haymon's Premier Boxing Champions. Khan turned down the Kell Brook fight as well as Tim Bradley fight for this.
New fight announced: Miguel Cotto to fight Daniel Geale on June 6th in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. Also part of the deal: If Cotto beats Geale and Canelo beats Kirkland, we're getting Cotto-Canelo in the fall, which is awesome.
FNF tonight: ESPN2, 10:00 pm EST, Tony Harrison vs Pablo Munguia, Ryan Kielczewski vs Danny Aquino. Harrison is a Kronk junior middleweight on the way up. Munguia is, uh, his opponent. Harrison was last in the ring in March, when he knocked out Antwone Smith in the second round.
Big night of fights tonight. First, on HBO. HBO, 9:45 pm EST, Lucas Matthysse vs Ruslan Provodnikov, Terence Crawford vs Thomas Dulorme. A split-site doubleheader, with Matthysse-Provodnikov in the TV main event slot and being promoted as the main event from the Turning Stone in Verona, NY. This is a can't-miss fight for boxing fans of any kind. This is going to be a war. Provodnikov has no idea how to do anything but charge forward, Matthysse doesn't avoid a throwdown himself, and both of them punch like all hell. This thing has Fight of the Year written all over it. Crawford-Dulorme is for a vacant belt at 140, with Crawford coming up from 135. That fight is taking place in Texas. Overall, you've got Top Rank, Golden Boy, and Banner Promotions working together on this broadcast.
And on Showtime. SHO, 10:00 pm EST, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs Andrzej Fonfara, Amir Imam vs Walter Castillo. HEY! And over on Showtime, there are also fights. Chavez is making his Showtime debut and fighting for the first time under Al Haymon's watch, taking on the gritty Fonfara in a 12-round light heavyweight main event. This could be a really interesting, really physical fight. Chavez was always the much larger man at 160 and was physically stronger than most of his opponents, but a jump up to light heavyweight might take that away, and Fonfara is a strong dude who held his own with Adonis Stevenson a year ago. Imam is a very promising junior welterweight prospect with a big punch.
There's also a Showtime Extreme broadcast to get things going: SHO Extreme, 8:00 pm EST, Oscar Escandon vs Moises Flores, Omar Chavez vs Richard Gutierrez. HEY! Omar gets on TV! Every time the Chavez family comes to a new channel, more concessions are made. Such is the power of the CHAVEZ. Omar is not particularly good, and you've seen Gutierrez lose 140 times, but it's nice to have Showtime Extreme fights on again, too, and the Escandon-Flores matchup is a good one.
Guys i am super fucking giddy for tonight. Excited for the major fight but also excited to watch Crawford again
Crawford leaves himself open to a left hook with the way he throws his right... Not sure if it will cost him tonight, but if comes across a fighter with a monster left, they may need to take him out on a shield.
My card matched Lederman's card in every round. Download JudgeCardX if you faggots don't already have it
Some fucking bombs being tossed around out there. Wonder if mama Provodnikov is in the arena tonight, she is a natural beauty.
