that seems like an unfair judgment, especially being that he threw for 24 TDs and 5 INTs his Senior year. That was 5 years ago. Plenty has changed
watching him i just never got the feel that he should be a pro qb it's just my opinion, but tyrod (nor anyone on the roster) isn't going to be someone that takes this team to the playoffs and actually makes noise and it's a true shame because this team is quite talented and with a qb could actually be a real threat
For the Steelers game, I'd let each QB get a series with the 1s before sitting the 1s. Dunno how else to continue to judge.

Meh, he's had plenty of time during the offseason to show Rex and crew something..... and he hasn't. Time to move on IMO. I wanna see more Cassel, I wanna see if he's any better than TT. I'm in the TT train for now, he looks pretty solid.

Tyrod has also essentially spent all preseason not playing with the 1s. Last week when he was starting everyone was out. Tyrod is balling right now and probably most importantly, he has 0 turnovers in the preseason(and I've read about virtually none in camp but that doesn't mean they haven't happened). His decision making is absurd right now and his ability to run is right up Rex's alley.
I think it is 1) TT 2) EJ 3) Cassel (he just doesn't seem to have anything unique, special. Just the epitome of average) my only true fear is that all season, when one guy struggles, the fans will chant for whoever hasn't played.
I wouldn't be mad at who he named starter unless it was Cassel. I wouldn't be "mad" but just confused at going so vanilla. Tyrod is more appealing because he has never started and we've seen EJ, although he obviously looks improved. I hope Gilmore is ready for the opener

I think you're completely forgetting A) How good Taylor was B) How shitty most of his supporting cast was, and C) He had a window licking offensive coordinator. Also, Tyrod and Boyd came from the same area of VA HS and no one would say that Boyd was a better HS player. Get a hold of yourself, MANPOW
It could have been Troy Smith and I would have used the same example. Nothing against Tryod all 3 of the bills qbs have proven to be nothing but medicore at this level. Atleast the running game should help the passing out if McCoy doesn't stay hurt all season. My statement on Boyd was more of a diss on him breaking ACC records but can't get a third string job. The guy is straight potatoe.
very sad obviously Boobie does more and provides power running and they like Karlos Williams on special teams, something Fred doesn't do. He is 34 and only diminishing. Still, hope this doesn't upset the team. also, if the Patriots sign him I'll be pissed
