Cam's sailed the ball a few times, he's really rattled. These fucking turnovers are going to cost us. Not to mention that challenge.
Fuck everyone who was overly cocky saying we would blow them out or dominate them I told you fuckers not to jinx us
Not over yet, defense is playing well. If they give us a big momentum play, we've still got a chance.
Cam just completely gave up. What a horrible decision to not jump on your fucking fumble. Can't believe that decision
That had to be scripted there is no way Cam would have not jumped on that holy shit how shady is that
My guess is he thought the hand sticking out was going to swat it and was waiting to see where it would end up. Who knows what he was thinking though.
Incredible, cam was not great today but he is a top 10 player in the nfl. The stupid will come out tonight
Looking back on it, Shula had a really bad game. Predictable play calling all night, and didn't do much from a playcalling standpoint to slow down the edge guys. Not a single screen pass all night, no variation in the snap count. Feel bad because the defense played well enough to win that game. Love TD for showing up and playing as well as he did.
Sucks hard because the Super Bowl is really the only prize in the NFL outside of not sucking. The one positive is that team is set-up to be a player for the foreseeable future with Cam, Luke locked down. Salary Cap about to get more manageable with Johnson deal likely coming off the books this year. Benjamen coming back. Norman the only question mark for next year among the key players. Just so hard to win it all. Look at Peyton was a great QB for like 16 years and won one when he was actually good.
Should have had 2 TEs on the line every play. Jstew getting hurt early didn't help. But they didn't even attempt to establish a run game when they were never out of the game.
I thought the play calling was alright, not perfect but it never is. Guys weren't making plays. Cotchery with multiple bad drops, Tolbert with bad fumbles, and Greg Olsen completely disappearing. My biggest problem was not giving the RT any help. Even just chipping Miller every now and then would have been better then giving one of the best pass rushers in the game 1 on 1 nearly every down.
I thought the Panthers abandoned the run fairly quickly and were not comfortable playing from behind against Denver's D. Just not a great game from anybody offensively. 4 straight-up dropped passes (3 by Cotchery, 1 by Stewart) by my count and another 2-3 where a WR could have made a play on them one of which went for an INT in the RZ, Cam missed a couple open throws that typically he would hit, penalties, OC didn't really adjust. Denver's D was legit though and I was really worried about Remmers against Miller. Miller abused basically every RT, so I don't want to hate on Remmers. He is a league average RT and gets paid the league minimum, so that is a net positive for the Panthers, but obviously he was no match for Miller. Also Denver game planned to take away Olsen and nobody else could set-up. Our D played well against a Denver O that played into their strengths. A wild Kony Ealy appeared. Special teams sucked. Missed a huge FG and gave them good field position. Inexplicable didn't tackle the punt returner and gave up a FG. Eliminate those 2 plays and the game is likely tied 10-0 in the 3Q and I would have liked our chances playing from tied versus behind.
i remember hearing people saying that the trade deadline that the panthers didn't need a receiver and it would "mess up chemistry" if they did thought it was retarded and of course the shit show at wr finally cost them a game. good god
