yeah i never thought about it since i assumed sc and nc were the same since cock n bull would always be open early sunday's didnt even think about it last fall and went uptown before a panthers game and had to sit there like idiots for an hour until noon. pretty irresponsible if you ask me because we crammed a good amount of drinking into an hour and got a bit drunk
I'll be there Monday or Tuesday. Had some complications with getting some of my classes & past credits figured out, so i'm not starting school until Spring semester. Dolphins fan, so i'll probably hit that up on Saturday night. idk if they have some special exception but i was surprised by it. we were talking to the bartender at connolleys and he said everyone uptown knows they serve and if people come in trying to watch soccer, they'll openly tell them to just go to hooligans if they want a beer they had the volume pretty low and didn't put a tv outside until noon so they definitely were laying a bit low

Starting to spend some more time in Charlotte for work, few days here and there, might eventually be more. Kind of love it so far. What are some of the best spots to watch games, hit on women I'll never touch, and eat(I hear TobiasFunke-Analrapist place is a good start)? soccer is hooligans. only place i know of uptown that serves before noon on sunday's. it's a chain but i like watching football and bball games at taco mac in southpark. brazwell's is a good sports bar too

NFL Sunday's at All American Pub are a shitshow but pretty entertaining and always swarming with attractive girls.
I was just about to type this. Saturdays & Sundays with All American / Oak Room is a freaking zoo, but that's probably a better environment to try and talk to women.
It's the FSU bar (I think that's still the case) so it'll be really crowded when they have their games. The later it goes, the more chaotic it is to get a table or whatever. Fun though. Draught is the Clemson bar. Also fun on both Saturday & Sunday. Especially if the Panthers are playing at home. I tailgate in their parking lot, so it's not a bad spot from what i've seen.
I've been meaning to try Draught, I used to go to whatever it was called before Panthers games sometimes. I wish there were more restaurants/bars in Third Ward since it's really the only place in uptown to buy property that isn't a condo.

Not to give you a hard time but I was there this past Saturday evening and someone was telling me it used to be a big lesbian bar prior to being Draught. Though in fairness, I would definitely imagine Kenny Powers hanging out at a lesbian bar and turning them straight...or even more lesbian. Either way.
As a married man I like to go to the lesbian bars so I'm not hit on constantly, it just becomes exhausting you know? Yeah idk I think the place was called Hartigan's or something and it was an Irish bar, only went pre Panthers games so I can't attest to the regular clientele.
