At the Knights game and it's bark at the park. Left my dog home cause I was worried about the heat. Now it's fantastic out and I feel like a dick for leaving him @ home.
I wish I could bring my dog to something like that but he hates strangers and would bite someone or have to wear a muzzle and be miserable.
OAR is in town? damnit. Wish I knew WVU's "home bar" for Football games is Whiskey River. It won't end well.
Congrats on those tickets It was at Dilworth last year. So whatevs. I probably won't go unless it's a game I can't find it on tv/online
we're going to hooligans on Saturday and then to all America for an sec alumni tailgate (i hate this bc it's not #toptier but oh well)
Spurs game is at noon right? lividpool is at 10 for CO and your table leaders city plays at 10 as well
The UF bar is at Ale House uptown and I've gone to a few with a gator friend...yeah it doesn't end well being in uptown getting CFB wasted.
Exactly. I know how myself, and other WVU fans get drunk during games. I live 15 min. away from downtown so it would end with me getting a Dewey.
Just Uber, it is so worth the $12. I have literally Uber'd from Montford area to Uptown for brunch on a Sunday morning because a buddy was in town and I thought it might get hairy. It was like $10 each way.
So, who is going to be joining TobiasFunke-Analrapist and I at Hooligans on Saturday morning around 945am for some good old fashioned morning drinking and yelling at the tv? Even if you're not a soccer fan just consider it as you getting "in-shape" for football season and those early Saturday mornings with drinking and yelling at the tv.
Gonna be out of town this weekend but I would like to get drunk before noon sometime in the near future.
I love their beers but thought their tap room experience was kinda meh. Felt more like a restaurant than a brewery. Asheville Brewing Co has a really nice patio and some good beers/food. Favorite would be Pisgah in Black Mountain, bout a 10 mile drive from Asheville. No food but their tap room and beers are the best IMO. Lookout in BM was also cool and had a great view of the mountains from their bar. Hearing a lot of good things about Burial and the Wedge but haven't made it out there yet ...
Wicked Weed makes the best beer in a state that makes great beer, so you should probably go there. As for dinner, it depends on how much you want to spend. One of my favorite places there that is reasonably priced is Salsa, like a carribean/mexican place. Right next door to WW is a placed called Seven Sows that has really good food and excellent whiskey.
Wicked Weed has best combo of food/beer in Asheville imo if you don't want full meals you either go downstairs at the main location or go to the funkatorium, more traditional brewery vibe
Damn, i was at that place just a year and a half ago....crazy That freaking fake Buffalo some of you weirdos like to ride while being smashed is pretty funny though.
i went from hooligans to noda to some sec thing at all american passed out at 6 pm and woke up sunday at 8 not in tailgate shape quite yet
Had no idea the UNC/Scar game was at BOA stadium, TobiasFunke-Analrapist I'm assuming you are taking a personal day Friday.
i didn't even realize what monday was until like 2 weeks ago every now and then i back into something smart
En route to your lovely state. Decided with pisgah for tonight, white water tomorrow, and a whole lot of festivities after.
Wedge is a really cool vibe and great place to hang out and have a few beers. Pretty damn good quality as well. Haven't seen it mentioned but One World right next to Salsa is really good beer and a chill vibe as well.
