So Kesler is playing Toews which means Kruger will play Getzlaf which means Kane line and Sharp line are once again playing scrubs. Daddy like.
yea our depth is going to be the difference. Only way series gets away is if Getzlaf and Perry have their way with our thin D.
Everything I've read is that Boudreau doesn't chase match ups so ya Kane should see a lot of favorable match ups this series

Not that it matters but Cumiskey playing makes it clear to me that would have been Johns spot. He was way better than Cumiskey all season and it wasn't at all close. These bottom pair D injuries is like death by a million paper cuts.
Still think you're crazy about Johns. Q doesn't trust young players, Cuminskey at least has NHL experience.
I know it's crazy. I would be with you on it but there's precedent with Torey Krug. I also have watched 20+ games of Rockford and Johns is a better defenseman than Cumiskey, there is no argument to the contrary. It's all moot now. Some people might say, well why the fuck didn't they get Johns some games so he wouldn't come in cold? He was injured at inopportune times and the Hawks had ridiculous luck with very few D injuries in season.
