still laugh at the people on this board that were trashing Saad a few months ago now look at all these teams pining for him
This this is the team we see. Bet Hawks have to eat about a mil of the Bickell salary so reduce the cap space by that amount. I picked Moore as the D they'll add but did so just to add the 2 mil cap hit I think they'll sign a vet D for https://www.hockeyscap.com/armchair-gm/team/10770
you think Teuvo is the center over Dano? I would have that flipped rather take draft picks on Kruger than pay him that much would really like the John Moore signing. He's from Chicago are right?
Would rather resign Desjardins than Nordstrom, but otherwise it's probably a good representation of how we will look
Of course but I don't think you can afford the extra 400,000 for a 12th/13th forward. You can add a guy like him at the deadline if you want
Time waster + a few knowledgeable posters sprinkled throughout. I don't go to the HF mainboards though, that's a fucking cesspool of idiocy
anyone think Bowman sneaks Ehrhoff? LD, and is going to sign with a contender for cheap. Depending on Bicks/Sharp deals... i donno?
I really think the possibility is real. Read this: http://espn.go.com/blog/nhl/post/_/id/38779/rumblings-ehrhoff-looking-to-sign-with-contender fits a need 100%
Ryan Kennedy@THNRyanKennedy 4m4 minutes ago Chicago, Tampa and Calgary all in the running for Viktor Tikhonov
Tikhonov has always been with us but no one seemed to agree. Then again I said the same about Reilly.
This all doesn't fucking matter anyways if we're being honest. We have Toews, Kane, Hossa, Keith, Seabrook, Hjalmarsson. Good luck everyone.
yep. 3 cups in 6 years. You know its good when the most ppl have to cheer for is Reilly signing with his dad's team or Saad getting traded.
Elliotte Friedman@FriedgeHNIC 51s52 seconds ago 2008 first-round draft pick Viktor Tikhonov, returning to NHL after four seasons in Russia, is closing in on a deal with CHI.
Mark Lazerus @MarkLazerus Forward. Grew up in California. I chatted with him in Sochi. You'd think he was American. excited about that Russian line
Joe Haggerty@HackswithHaggs 2m2 minutes ago Most interesting thing I heard in last 24 hours: B's talking trade w/CHI for Bickell & Nilsson. Would fit power forward/backup goalie needs

I've always been bearish on Kruger returning. Saad blindsided me but Kruger is worth alot but the Hawks can find people to play that role easily as the premiere org in the NHL (i.e. Tikhonov) Would be an ideal replacement.
Scott Powers@ESPNChiPowers 53s54 seconds ago The Blackhawks and forward Viktor Tikhonov have agreed to terms on a one-year contract, according to a source.
absolutely. whoever os him immediately climbs my list of shrewd GMs. Said a month ago I think Stan might even dangle him out in the market like this and see what comes back. Good things can happen that way. Especially when you now have two close proxxys to replace.
watching replacement level players sign for 2-2.5 everywhere right now. Teams voluntarily nickle and dime themselves to no cap room. Hawks do it right in that regard.
Yup, its why I don't want to pay Kruger 3 mil or whatever. You pay your stars, replace depth players. Its the mistake they made with Bickell.
im ready to let Kruger go with danault and Tik to replace. + he is made semi irrelevant by Anisimov who will tke harder starts than Richards/Handzus did.
___ - Toews-Kane Teuvo-Dano-Hossa Panarin-Anisimov-Tikhonov ___ -Danault-Hartman i can deal with that
lol the Pens traded for Kessel. If you want to shit on Stan for being born on 3rd base with these HAwks cups look nor further than the mess Pitt has created of there budding dynasty which includes (imo) the two best players in the world.
I must say I'm feeling better about this off-season. Still sucks so bad to lose Saad. Also I may be in the minority but I like Kruger a bunch... I don't want to see him leave but we will see.
Who are the options to fill that top line winger spot or 2nd line depending on how they want to run the matchups? Any rumors?
I'm not calling them idiots.. but that is what was said to me and how they were described. I agree if you don't fall in line with group think your normally attacked. Those guys do seem to think independently and I have no problems with them at all.
