It was really I cant wait to read the new number 1s next week.

 

I'm pissed Netflix only has 2 seasons of Justice League available for streaming.

 

Season 3-5 are under Justice League Unlimited

To me it seems like Martian Manhunter is basically Vision with the ability to shape shift. I don't know the upper limits of his strength, but all things considered with the mind reading, mind control, density shifting, and shape shifting, he is probably the most formidable member of the Justice League.

 

It's been stated that he possesses strength equal to superman. The biggest problem with man hunter is that his weakness is readily available to use at almost any time

 

Pretty much just get him near fire?

In the video games he can shoot heat rays from his eyes like Superman, does he have this power elsewhere?

 

I've never seen that in any version of him so far I'm assuming no

 

I didn't think he did, as it makes less than zero sense when his weakness is fire. But I've never read a MM comic.

 

I'm about to go full comics nerd, so be warned...

Martian Manhunter is one of the most varied characters in all of DC when it comes to power level and weakness.

The fire thing was originally a huge deal, but he supposedly overcame it.

Power level is where things really change based upon the writer. Some writers put him on par with Superman, while others put him a significant step below. Regardless, the only common theme is he is the one character who the JL would really need to take down Superman.

 

Martian Manhunter was one of my favorites from the Bruce Timm JL show.

If :33 was Batman breaking in to Lexcorp then Snyder should be shot for not having that in the movie.

 

He really needs to learn how to make a 2 hr and 15 minute movie. He makes these big budget 3 and a half hour movies that of course the studio is going to make him edit.

 

Now if they could just drop Ezra Miller for Grant Gustin.

 

Dope was a really good overlooked movie. It's on Netflix if you're curious.

from what I remember, it wasn't that sad for most of it but the ending hits you like a ton of bricks

 

I'll check out the synopsis online.... That 5 year jump caught me the fuck off guard. Love how that show threw a bunch of different story lines at you yet easily make them all work. BTW do the writers have a hard on for Roy Harper? He was consistently one of the most bad ass characters in that show 2 seasons running.

Apparently we're getting something Justice League related on Tuesday. WB had a bunch of film blogs (many of them have been extremely negative towards BvS and Snyder) visit the set in London the past couple of days. Not sure what we're getting but they said they can share it on Tuesday.
