I can't help but think that if Kev were on the pitch he would have taken and missed the first pen and we would have drew 1-1. Hope Rom is okay and the new guy gets off to a hot start but Kone was garbage today.
The last time we won a league game before beating Newcastle at home tonight was Newcastle away. Enjoy your Night blues #efc
turning point of the season imo @deadspin: VIDEO: Roberto Martínez was really getting it in at the Jason Derulo concert last night deadsp.in/c7ChD3i
Why do we become such a good team right after their really isn't anything else to play for? Kiev and the Manchester screwjob made us good for some reason.
How long does it take a Grasshopper to fly from Switzerland to Merseyside? We might need a midfielder next week.
Even on points with Liverpool. But we have a goal difference of 16 better than them. ESPNFC still has us listed lower in the table so go figure.
Some tables out there are updated by the minute, you'd think the Walt Disney Corporation would spring for that kind of technology.
First game i watched here was against Chelsea (3-3). My jet lagged heart was seconds away from breaking
I'm unfamiliar with this version of Aaron Lennon, I'm happy that he has found his feet with you lot. You guys played well today, should have been more than 3 to be honest. Martinez desperately needed these back to back wins.
Butland was their MOTM, Kone sucks and Ross should have gone down, because that's a clear penalty if he does. I respect this hell out of him for not though. Top lad that Ross
It took a lot of chutzpah to even attempt his shot that he scored with because Rom was primed for a chance and he usually gets pretty pissed off when he doesn't get the ball in those situations.
This guy will be waking up tomorrow at 8 for the ticket release for the game against West Ham. Wish me luck amigos
Apparently the investors are the same people that own the Padres. That rather disappoints me. I barely follow baseball but The Padres seem like one of the most disinteresting franchises in all of the big three professional sports leagues in America. Tony Gwynn is like the one good thing The Padres have offered to society.
I'm not sure our owner is actually even alive, I've seen him at maybe one match. It must be nice cruising the world as a tax-exile on your superyacht. Beats an American takeover I suppose. He may cash out after the new stadium, but for now things are going fairly swell.
That's the ideal time to do it. Drop the bomb when things are going well and get someone to massively overpay. Just like the beloved Barry Hearn. But if the way the Red Sox run Liverpool is transitive to how the Padres will run Everton, we'll be joing Leyton Orient in League 2 in a few years time.
There's a Men in Blazers Lukaku pod special that just came out. Haven't listened yet but Rog and Rom are two of my favorite people on the planet.
Men in Blazers@MenInBlazers NEW POD SPECIAL: Rog speaks with @Everton's @RomeluLukaku9 about the art of scoring goals: soundcloud.com/meninblazers/m… pic.twitter.com/o7kHWyixxp Starting it now.
Rom does everything but say he wants to leave for a champions league squad at the end, lol. Good stuff though, its cool about the story between him and Ross when they were young.
Rom and Vardy together in Leicester's 4-4-2 is a rather frightening proposition. Luckily I don't think Leicester have $80 million burning a hole in their pocket.
