This would be a home run IMO. http://www.espnfc.us/everton/story/...-to-agreeing-deal-to-take-everton-job-sources He's also got the balls to tell a player that he isn't going to be transferred. Might be bad news for Rom and his genital wart of an agent.
We will Clemson the match away everytime we wear this. If the orange helps us get Koeman then I won't hate them too much.
When he took over Southampton, it was a mess and a lot of people were picking them to get relegated his first season there. He brought in a lot of good players on a relatively small budget. They've constantly had to deal with players wanting to leave for bigger clubs but somehow they've remained relatively stable and punched above their weight.
Another promising sign is the reason he wants to leave Southampton is that he is fed up with the business model of selling their best players to survive financially and Moshiri telling him that wouldn't be the case at Everton and he will have a substantial transfer budget to play with.
Of course he would have. He didn't have the clout to say that he wouldn't go along with that back then like he does now. Same thing happened with your manager.
touche, well I hope to see Koeman or whoever make Everton great again they'll do well with a new mgr and w/out european comp, basically '15 Leicester with a very comparable squad imo
Everyone is going to mistakenly think Seamus is a great crosser after delivering on such a big stage.
I was expecting more excitement in here after Koeman was officially announced. I guess I'm the only one pleased with the hire.
If he plays the rest of the Euros like he did in his first match, he will be underwhelmed by his list of suitors.
I still dont know that much about all the other teams, besides star players. Im excited because you told me to Lt Dan.
One thing to get excited about with Koeman is his ability to find new CB's every season and get them to play at a very high level. Alderwield and Van Dijk just in the last two seasons. I will cream myself if he can bring Van Dijk with him.
I think it's because we have known about this for a week. I'm truly excited. Moshiri said this was his guy and he got him. Solid start
It's got to be something like doubling his salary for him to even mention Everton as a contender after how much his stock went up after the Ireland match.
Wicket As the resident Eredivisie/Oranje expert, is Cilleson any good? Where do you think he would rank among keepers in the Premier League?
Pretty good, deserving to be the national team keeper. Probably middle of the pack pl keeper, maybe a bit better. Kinda feels like Joe hart light
I'd welcome the signing for the reason that Everton's goalkeepers would be named Joel (my fathers name) and Jasper (my dogs name)
Would be a dream signing for me. I adore him despite him playing for two of my least favorite teams. Same deal that Beckham had for me. I don't like United/Millwall/Real Madrid/AC Milan/PSG and I love watching England underachieve so it doesn't make too much sense that I adore him. Only Beckham jersey I have is a LA Galaxy.
Roberto is rocking the worst tie ever on ESPN today. Even though he sucked as our manager, I still cant help but like him
It's hard to take him serious now as a pundit because of all the hyperbolic things he said while at Everton. Things like saying Gareth Barry is an all time great for England and annointing John Stones as the next Franz Beckenbauer after just a short run of good form. His punditry prior to becoming Everton manager was one of the reasons that I became #TeamEverton too. He's just too nice of a person. He kind of reminds me of Urban Meyer and all his bullshit 40 times he claims that his players have. I've never thought it's good to make your players think they're more talented than they actually are.
Should have sold him to Chelsea for that truckload of cash last season. If anyone offers big money again, take it and run.
My brain won't be able to handle the confusion of me wanting a team wearing those horrid colors to succeed.
Royal Blue Mersey @RBMersey 4m4 minutes ago Expect Stones to join City for £50m when he's back from holiday next week. Hopefully #efc have replacement lined up as this isn't a surprise
I know we all really wanted to believe that he is the real deal but a lot of his perceived value is the product of Roberto being Roberto and overstating how good he is. Jags and Funes Mori had better seasons than him last year. And if there is one thing Koeman has proven is that he can find and get immediate success from CB's (Alderweild and Van Dijk). We can get Witsel and Juan Mata from Stones transfer fee.
