Does that make us better players than David Alaba? He's probably the only one to outdissapoint Hart and Sterling. I think it does.
We've also had lots of chatter about Mata and Witsel since Spain and Belgium went out of the Euros. Wijnaldum I didn't really hear about until today.
Since I fucked it up last year, here's how we're going to do team previews this year: get together and provide a team preview, then when it's fully prepared PM it to me and I'll put it in the EPL thread OP. Thanks.
So we just stole Leicester's director of football. Every time we sign a player none of us have ever heard of, they are destined to be as good as Mahrez or Kante. I kind of feel bad for Ranieri. He'll still be a legend at Leicester regardless but if he had dipped out right after they won the title it would have been badass. Now they'll more than likely not make it out of their champions league group and finish bottom half of the table.
I was just listening to an Everton podcast and one of the guys was inconsolable at the thought of selling stones. Thinks he is worth way more and cited David Luiz PSG fee as his reasoning. I know Luiz gets a lot of flack but Stones hasnt proven he is as good as him. I'll be upset if we turn down that kind of money for Joleon Lescott 2.0
And the thing people get on him about is the silly mistakes when there is little to be gained and lots to be risked, which is exactly what Stones has become known for. Stones is dead set on being an "evolved and sophisticated" CB. Pep is the perfect coach to help him develop that way but I just don't think it will work in this league like it does in the others. Hardasses like Huth and Morgan is the way to go.
The Guardian is reporting we've signed a second Gueye (pronounced "gay") The former one had a criminally underrated hilarious athletes name. Magueye Gueye which in an offensive accent sounds like someone saying "my guy is gay"
It looks to me like the match might be streaming on the La Liga TV app. Go to the "LFP World Challenge" page and swipe over to "Live." Fingers crossed that it actually works. I’ve never used this thing before
I might have to purchase my first legit kit with that away one. Man it's good. Also just too funny how short offseason is. So not used to it... What should our expectations be, gents?
The timeframe between matches is the best too. It's not like baseball where if you really want to follow your team, it's pretty much like having a second job. And sometimes you get 2 matches a week, something that would be downright cruel to college or pro football players. The NBA has good spacing between games but the regular season is essentially meaningless so it's hard to invest for me.
Watched what I could in the second half. Super Kev should have scored... Also, news broke that Roberto is now the new Belgium manager. Poor Kev will never see national minutes again :/

Besic is out 6 months with a knee injury. The guy just can't stay healthy long enough to get into a rhythm.
I think we've attempted and failed to buy one of the "star" players from every less prestigious club currently in the Premier League. We've whiffed on Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie in just the last few days. My guess for the next one is Ighalo from Watford.
We're so dumb for having sold him before acquiring a decent replacement (Ashley Williams would have been fine) Now we're going to get ripped off and the player we buy will succumb to the pressure of his inflated transfer fee. That is assuming we can convince anyone to join the team in the first place.
Stones will be the English media's sacrificial lamb to prove that the "Spanish way of defending" doesn't work in The Premier League. I was just thinking about Roberto and his embellishing the talents of his players. He's not going to know what to do with himself with Hazard, De Bruyne, Courtois, and most importantly Jordan Lukaku. Apparently the Ashley Williams thing is back on...for now. Swansea would pretty much be throwing in the towel if they sell their captain to us the day after selling Ayew.
Ronaldo Neuer Lloris Ashley Williams It just doesn't seem right that Lloris is among these elite Euro 2016 quarter finalists captains.
Apparently we're getting closer to signing Bolasie. Him and Gerry on both wings would be entertaining to watch at least. I feel like Ross would thrive playing with the two of them. He's so much better when he's just running up and down the field instead of keeping things slow and worrying about his pass completion percentage.
Koeman didn't even assign Niasse a squad number. Look at it this way, the combined money we spent on McGeady and Niasse is roughly what Bolasie will cost and there's no way he'll be worse than them.
