Quite a bit bigger than that, actually. Lots of people saying this is the biggest show of support for a secession in history. Generally the older generations were against it but now that the economy is fucked up, coupled with Catalunya being the richest province, they're pissed off over what's happening and feel they're having to take on an unfair load in all of this, with the view being that the central government is fucking them over.
Just to reiterate my point: "As late as 2010, a poll conducted by Catalonia’s Center for Opinion Studies found that only 25.2% of the population favored independence. That number had more than doubled in its latest survey, released this week, which found a historic high of 51.1% wanting out of Spain. In other news, Messi is questionable, and Iniesta, Alexis, and Alba are all out this weekend vs Getafe
ugh Tests confirm that Puyol will be sidelined for four to six weeks www.fcbarcelona.cat 09/16/2012 12:30 Medical tests confirm that the captain has strained the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The player will be out of action for four to six weeks Puyol / PHOTO: MIGUEL RUIZ-FCB Medical tests confirm that Carles Puyol has strained the posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. The player will be out of action for four to six weeks. It’s worth noting that Puyol had to leave the pitch halfway through the second half in the match against Getafe this Saturday. Puyol to miss at least five games If the Barça captain is sidelined for four weeks he’ll miss the matches against Spartak Moscow, Granada, Sevilla, Benfica and Real Madrid. If he’s out for six weeks, he’ll also miss the match against Deportivo.
what a sweetheart http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football...n-than-being-the-best-footballer-in-the-world
i didn't get home in time to watch the game, but i read it. i refuse to watch the video. puyol has been so unlucky man. i wonder if this is his last year
i can live with a draw at this point because needed a win bad, but it pisses me off it was at camp nou
I'm extremely happy with a draw with Pique and Puyol out. I thought for sure we were going to lose today.
Abidal has started training and Busquets is going to miss both legs against Celtic for his Benefica red.
Fabregas and Alba have been on point. If Alba and Alves could co-exist (still maintain defensive integrity), it would be a beautiful thing.
it's just me and you. let's have a circle jerk while we discuss messi winning the golden boot and pique being nominated for the ballon d'or
Watching Arsenal struggle and Fabby tear shit up is feeling pretty pretty good right now. You think Alba was brought in to replace Alves? Or do you think they will trot both out there? Obviously some of it depends on Abidal coming back.
