I was going to suggest we gamble Indecent Proposal style and wager our significant others but now that's ruined. Fucking Italian assholes

Real Madrid and Barcelona can win La Liga without trying - Mourinho The Chelsea manager says the top two teams in Spain only play four or five matches per season and is not sure they would win the Premier League Jose Mourinho has insisted that Real Madrid and Barcelona can stroll to the Spanish league title by only trying in "four or five matches". The Chelsea manager won one Liga title and a Copa del Rey in his three years in charge of Madrid, during which time he took the side to the Champions League semi-finals three times in a row. Mourinho, though, insists it is too easy to win La Liga for the top two teams in Spain, adding that they might not be able to dominate the English Premier League in the way they do their own top flight. "I was in Spain, but I didn’t enjoy it,” he told talkSPORT. “I won a title with a record in Spain with 100 points and 121 goals, but we only played three or four matches all season. “I lost a title with 92 points, but again we played only four or five matches in the season. “You feel the pressure that you have to win every match because if you don’t you will not be champions. But it is a big, big gap between the giants and the others. “In matches in other countries you can win matches when you are resting. In Spain and in Italy, I won lots of matches resting. Games in which you can think about the European game coming up and where you can rest players. “This season I rested a few players against Bradford and I lost against Bradford. And that is English football. You are winning 2-0 and if you concede a goal you know you are going to have hell for the last few minutes. “This is the reality of the Premier League. It’s not just about the number of matches, it’s the intensity. And it’s not just physical intensity, you feel the intensity mentally. “The difference between the Premier League and La Liga is huge. Would Barcelona or Real Madrid win the Premier League? Maybe yes. Maybe not."
Hopefully he can be sent out with a treble http://www.espnfc.us/story/2457418/xavi-hernandez-to-leave-barcelona-this-summer-father Barcelona midfielder Xavi will end his long association with the Catalan giants at the end of the season, according to his father. Xavi joined the club's famous La Masia youth system at the age of 11 and has developed into a central figure in a glorious era for them. He won his eighth Primera Division winners' medal at the weekend and will be bidding for his fourth in the Champions League when Barca face Juventus in the final next month. XAVI HERNANDEZ Age: 35 Debut: vs. Mallorca, Aug. 18, 1998 Games: 506 Goals: 58 Assists: 97 Honours: Champions League (3), Super Cup (2), Club World Cup (2), La Liga (8), Copa del Rey (2), Spanish Super Cup (6); World Cup 2010; European Championship 2008, 2012. That match in Berlin on June 6 could be Xavi's last in the Blaugrana colours ahead of a reported move to Qatari club Al Sadd, having lost his regular starting place to Ivan Rakitic this season. AS has reported that Xavi will announce the Al Sadd move at a news conference on Thursday, and the player's father, Joaquin Hernandez, told Cope Radio: "His ultimate dream would have been to finish his football career here [at Barca], but he is 35 years old and I think there comes a time to say 'enough' to the club. "He was very fortunate to receive a truly impressive offer that allows him to continue to play football, to prepare as a future coach and rest a little." Barca's final match of the season against Deportivo La Coruna this Saturday is therefore likely to be Xavi's last at the Camp Nou. Fellow Barca midfielder Andres Iniesta paid tribute to Xavi on Tuesday, saying: "I am out of compliments. I will not find anyone at the stature of what he represents as a person and a player. "The figures, the years, the feelings, his way of doing things are beyond any words. He is a unique player, unrepeatable and has been fundamental at the club and with the national team. "It is a true pleasure and privilege to have had my entire career at his side."
Damn. Right in the feels http://www.fcbarcelona.com/football...ctions-on-social-networks-to-xavi-s-departure
I think we offered some shit contract to Alves and he won't accept it when he can get paid nicely somewhere else. That's a big gap for next season. Huge gap. Montoya is fucking terrible. And I think I migt be better than Douglas. What do yall think about a possible Gundogan transfer?
he wants more money. barca is in no position to let him go. it's a great move by alves. i just have a hard time believing he'll leave once we likely increase our offer
ACEDGOD alves didn't confirm he was leaving, but it sure sounds like he was on his way out http://www.sport-english.com/en/new...ion-come-after-champions-league-final-4216912
Playing hardball. Just simply wants a better offer. I know he tries to imply otherwise. I like the new kits. I have gotten a jersey every year for the last six years, but skipped this season. I rotate between alternate and home jersey. Not sure if I should get the new home jerseys or end up buying the ones from this season considering the chance at a treble
The horizontal stripes are fucking bizarre. This and the 12/13 kit are just abominations for a club that generally have such a clean look. If I was a fan, the away kit would be ordered ASAP. Incredible.
Man. The struggle is real. Arguably the GOAT Barca squad. I might buy a Puyol jersey to celebrate instead
i did a quick search and i couldn't find it either. i went to the mall today and now that i didn't think about it, i didn't see any of the home kits at any of the stores where they would typically sell them.
How do you see this summer going down? It's obvious that we are going to just set up some deals to have the players join us after the ban Pogba makes zero fucking sense. Gundogan would be a great fit if he actually isn't made of glass. Alves appears to be gone which I think is a major loss. No necessarily as a reflection of his contribution, as much as it means that we have some awful players slotting into that position. I think, unfortunately, we have to keep Pedro if he somehow allows us to. Deulofeu appears to be a massive bust so we have no one to back up the front three if we let Pedro leave.
1) we can't let pedro go this summer 2) i love pogba. eventually place rakitic in iniesta's role (similar to what he did at sevilla) and play him and pogba together. 3) i think we sign aleix vidal either for january or in the summer. pretty difficult to keep a catalan who wants to be at Barça out of the club. plus, given our good relationship with sevilla, i can't imagine we can't get him if we want him. last i read we would offer them to keep denis suarez and we would loan them alen halilovic in addition to the transfer fee. i'd like to think we would like to sign another RB in addition, as insurance. 4) no clue on what to make of deulofeu. i was pretty upset when lucho loaned him out, but he absolutely got it right. iirc, he signed an extension recently. so imo, we are keeping him until late summer and see if his attitude/teamwork improve or we loan him out again and never see him in the blaugrana again.
that would be even more ideal, but he'd probably be too expensive. plus, sevilla would porbably be much easier to deal with.
