That’s why Suarez is an undisputed starter on this club. Those dekes were orgasmic. Unreal awareness.
Had to be the best Messi game in several years. Truly unreal performance. He isn’t appreciated enough in today’s game. Which is crazy considering most people consider him one of the best of all time. Everywhere today. Goals. Assists. Through balls. Dribbles. Brilliant. This team is clearly better with a four man midfield. Dembele just doesn’t fit.
Finishing up watching the game. Arthur looks like a Xavi clone. He could be in the XI for a decade. Haven’t seen Messi run as much as he did in 5 years to go along with his total control of the game. Such a blessing to get to watch his whole career. The back to back attempts to pass it into the left corner that hit the post were FIFA on rookie mode type domination.
Gentlemen, that is how you get a point at the Mestalla. Absolute tactical masterclass from Ernesto Valverde.
went to the training center and not the hospital according to the bein broadcast could just be a pit stop i suppose, but im taking the optimistic reading
Very relieved after this win. Had no idea how they’d look without Messi. Little sloppy and disjointed to start, but really came together as the match went on. Rafinha played hard and looked more comfortable as the match went on. That’s huge. The midfield was strong and didn’t give up much. Ter did Ter things when needed. Just such a relief to get these 3 pts and have things looking ok going into el Clasico.
Haven't been this unexcited for a Clasico in a long time. No Ronaldo, no Messi, injuries galore, a lot of new faces, Real playing like shit and unable to score, Barca struggling at times and inconsistent etc seems to have sucked some of the energy out imo.
I missed the AM game, so just finally got around to watching it (thanks fubo). Pretty surprising result given Madrid coming out as strong as they did to start the second half. Suarez reanimating his lifeless corpse while his bf was sidelined was amazing. We need umtiti back to solidify the back line in the worst way. It sucks that Busquets’ legacy will always be tied to his early diving shit bag ways (it’s a well deserved tag) but god damn he’s the truth. Still have no idea to do with Roberto. And Arthur is amazing. That is all. Visca!
Prior to today, Suarez couldn’t hit shit. Love the dude and his passion. He’s been amazing. But a hatty for Suarez was a complete surprise.
good for malcom man super fucking annoying game tho. all that garbage finishing was just begging to get a trash inter goal to drop points
Agreed. We deserved to win. All in all not the worst result in the world though considering we are still heavy favorites to win the group. Finishing aside I’m just glad we actually played well as a team without Messi.
Messi back in the lineup. Probably could have just kept him out to kept healing, with an international break upcoming, but I guess with Coutinho and Dembelé out I guess it’s good to throw him back out there. If he’s healed up, he’s healed up. Fuck it
This season reminds me of 2000 or whenever it was that Deportivo came from nowhere to win the league while Real & Barca kept tripping over their dicks.
This doc is somfucking good. Better than Barça Dreams, imo. https://oload.fun/f/u72HUn6_HqQ/Eng...APw-wC1Q0myfwB_J5L5YvSkcO21l-Y3brBXYlSxdLAo9Y Streaming worked great for me. Not available digitally in the US until Jan. for whatever reason, only released in Spain and UK right now.
