Thanks for the advice. I'll be working at Hermann and LBJ so I'm trying to find a place that'd give me good access to both. I'm also painfully single so I need to find a place that allows me to get out a bit. The place I'm looking at on Buffalo Speedway is right near 610. They told me midown is being gentrified, I'm just thinking if I'm going to buy something for my first house I don't know if I want to take that much of a risk.
You'll hear this from time to time, but its usually from people who have only been to the outskirts of houston (katy, the woodlands, spring, etc.) and not the actual town. I can't possibly imagine living out there. It seems like it would be cookie cutter suburb hell.
and that's the area that I've been to on my visits, outside going to the men's club. I didn't figure the whole city was like that. would be like judging kc by going to olathe.
When some of you young 'uns start having kids, the idea of a nice neighborhood with 5000 sf houses in a good school district becomes a little more attractive.
Well yea I get that aspect of it, I'm just saying for anyone single and 20-30 it would probably be not a whole lot of fun
It's usually from people who drive from the airport to their destination, and then back. Getting a few blocks off the freeways is essential to embracing the city. It's a big fucking place. That's like going to NYC and never leaving the subways.
bags and bigg should be elected same year. May have to make a Cooperstown trip if that happens. Such much nostalgia

drove right by oishii on the way to kop some shoes after work and gave serious, serious thought to stopping
Yeah, shit is a mother fucker to get in though. I went there last night with a buddy of mine, meal cost me 16.78.
They carved out their bar to have a raw bar in there. It's essentially a completely separate restaurant. As an aside, I think Haven has really dropped off quality wise the last year or so
I'm sure cove is great, I've heard the same. Just haven I think is not as good as it used to be. Still good, but last couple of times have just been off
