oh baby, the rumor mill is hot today. Sounding more and more like: NYE > Mexico > Winter Tour!! January 28-29, Charlottesville January 30-31, Hampton 6-8 more northeast shows in February
Not terrible when you consider everything is all inclusive. Probably get a flight for pretty cheap, too. Still not something I'm going to pursue, but will inevitably hate myself for not attending.
Listened to the Albany 7 Below -> Ghost for the first time in way too long today. Still blows my fucking mind.
Last night was my 30th show. Now to find a ticket for tonight. Even when I do find one, I'll probably be on my phone watching bama about half the time
Yesterday around noon, altitude released more tickets for last night. Hoping that might be the case tonight.
Strong start to the last show of tour. Dick's Sporting Goods Park Commerce City, CO | September 6, 2015 Showtime | 7:30 pm | 175 songs Show Poster By Rich Kelly | http://goo.gl/3p7wq0 Soundcheck | Dog Log Set One : 8:28 pm The Landlady* Free The Moma Dance > Seven Below > Prince Caspian *last "The Landlady" 12/3/1994
That show was amazing. I also really enjoyed watching all the dirty wookies cry and hug each other because the tour was over. Truly heartbreaking stuff for them.
On the road to Lockn and just found out a bit ago that they cancelled Thursday. Apparently a big ass storm with high winds fucked up the festival site. Tipped portos, ect. They still haven't said when they're going to open the campgrounds, but it was supposed to be about 6am. One of our buddies was already there dropping off his friend who is volunteering and he said it was a mess and a mud pit with people already getting stuck. Really disappointing because Thursday had some great shows. String Cheese, String Cheese with the Doobie Brothers, Little Feat, Deer Tick, Galatic late night. Fucking sucks. They've said they're still planning on 3 days of music so I hope they make it up to us somehow. If they let us in sometime tomorrow but don't have music it's going to get rowdy in the campgrounds. Wind out of the sails, but we solider on.
I'm a huge crowes fan, and I've liked his solo stuff to varying degrees. But I really love the brotherhood. Saw them in Detroit this week, they played a bunch of stuff I didn't know as well / was kind of indifferent too...and I still totally dug it. They've been killing it for a few years now.
He can definitely be a diva / cunt. I know a few people that have worked with the crowes for years, only to be fired/left out for some seriously petty shit. Guess that's the rockstar shit...from 25 years ago. Oh well, I still dig the tunes.
1 month from leaving for Hulaween. I'm gonna need a whole different kind of packing list from the usual summer festival packing list I always use.
Anyone seen Particle recently? Thinking about going tomorrow night. They used to bring the heat but I haven't made one of their shows in at least 10 years.
Just a listing of great versions sorted by song with links: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OC8zbhnip6vca86QxXxrtn24-kpkUfLmsqlzpRHMXtg Kinda unnecessary now with the Phish OD app though. The app allows you to sort and filter by year/song/audio source and also indicates noteworthy versions with reviews.
