We have 3 fans so might as well start our official thread. Bring on the free transfers and loans!! Good to see we signed Schmeichel. Now it is time to target some other players who are Championship level.

So many rumors going around. Have read about some mass loan from Arsenal with Watt, Emanuel-Thomas, etc, names like Sharp, Hulse, Montgomery... All taken with a grain of salt really.

Well the signings have been freebies and it is looking like the upcoming year is all about consolidation with preseason results all over the map including a 5-0 loss to Bury to now a 3-1 win vs Wolves. Should be a fun year in the ColaShip if one of the strikers on the roster can step up after missing out on signing Hooper.

Lesson to learn. Preseason results are meaningless. Although that loss to Bury really seemed to wake the squad up. Rumors are that the top young guys prefer Leeds to the other teams in the Colaship so it will be interesting to see who gets brought in.

Saw that yesterday, but it was only a 6 month loan then. Definite Now just need to get a few more young studs on loan.

Not much, just Grayson looking at young premiership players to sign for season long loans. Rumor is Tottenham's Steven Caulker is the next target. Also rumored to be a big signing coming. Game this Saturday with Derby should be fun.

Just looked on channelsurfing and tomorrow's game is on there. Also, we signed Man City's Adam Clayton on a month loan. The word is he is a good DM which is something we need and the month loan might just be so he can play tomorrow while the specifics for a longer loan are worked out. Read we are in on the Jay Simpson sweepstakes too which would be a decent way to try and replace Beckford.

Well the defense was piss poor and the MF kept getting pushed around letting the Derby MF run right through. Kasper was great though and appears to be a real coup. The 2nd half was much better than the first so that is one thing to takeaway.

Good to take a point from Forest at City Ground. The first 25 minutes were terrible with more of the same from the Derby game, but from then on we dominated the match and should have scored more than the 1 goal. Sam and Watt looked much better this game. Still going to be a big boost when Snoddy, Kisnorbo, Gradel, and Paynter get back in the lineup.

Looking like we might be getting Henri Lansbury on loan from Arsenal. Just wish we could have brought in a striker with pace to replace Beckford, but I will wait to see if Paynter can replace the production.

Haven't heard anything on that deal collapsing. You thinking about the Jay Simpson deal that collapsed because of wage demands?

Well I think he could play both this year which is great. I think we are going to be set on the wings when Snoddy and Gradel come back from injury/suspension. Maybe Grayson liked Watt up top and is planning to use him there now. Center of the pitch could use some help. Really need a holding MF to take some pressure off what is a weak back 4 now.

Uggh, Naylor is so awful. Just scored an own goal and has been burned in all of our games so far. Just have had 4 straight good chances that haven't been put in.

Watt with a great move and a pass to Sam for a goal!!! 1-1.

David Somma makes it 2-1. The hype on him has been very high from the Leeds sites. He could be a part of the answer to replace Beckford's goalscoring.

And Somma scores again. 3-1 with 2 goals from super sub Somma. Outside of Naylor's own goal the team played great and it could have been 7 or 8 goals easily.

I only saw the Derby and Forest game on streams. Listened to the others.

NK, I am not sure what is going to happen to Clayton. He hasn't impressed in his short stints (really hard to judge his quality) and I don't think you guys are letting us play him in the Carling because of not wanting him cup tied.
