Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Leeds United 1 Leicester City 2 Quick and crafty striker/winger. Pretty much exactly what we need up top with Becchio and the other strike partners.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Leeds United 2 Swansea 1 Naylor with a fuckup to put us in a hole, but had enough for the comeback win.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Leeds United 2 Swansea 1 Some updates: Honduran international Ramon Nunez signed after a trial period at the club. He should provide quality depth in the MF. Looks like we may have got our DM we needed with Amdy Faye signing. Might be a bit old at 33, but he should be up to snuff for the Colaship. Also, Callum Davenport left to go try and get regular games in, but Grayson is supposedly keeping an eye on him. The big news is Snodgrass and Paynter are going to play in a reserve game this week. When they come back it almost seems like the squad might be too big, but the Championship season is long so it can't hurt.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Leeds United 2 Swansea 1 so happy with the win, at least soccer was good for me this weekend.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: ( at Barnsley today at 2:45) Have you found a feed for the game today? I'm going to watch champs league on tv and was hoping I could have the Leeds game streaming on here.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: ( at Barnsley today at 2:45) I dont see anything at the moment but streams may get added later. I doubt it though as they usually only nationally televise (in the UK) only the biggest Championship game and with the UCL games at the same time they may not even pick up any of the games. Gonna be following on gamecast again.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: ( at Barnsley today at 2:45) I have been slacking on this thread and will make up for it.... Here is today's game news: Barnsley v Leeds United Scotland international Garry O'Connor is in line to make his Barnsley debut when Leeds visit Oakwell. O'Connor joined on a one-month loan deal late on Friday but it was not in time to feature in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Norwich at Carrow Road. Hugo Colace, Barnsley's only injury doubt, is facing a race against time to be fit after failing to recover from a calf injury and missing the trip to Norfolk. If Colace does recover, it is expected he will go straight back into the starting line-up at the expense of Nathan Doyle who deputised for the former Argentina U20 captain at Carrow Road. Other than Colace, boss Mark Robins has a fully-fit squad to choose from as they look to continue their 100% league record at home this season. Shane Higgs is expected to keep his place between the sticks for Leeds. Higgs made his first Championship start of the season during Saturday’s 2-1 home win over Swansea after first choice Kasper Schmeichel was ruled out with a foot injury. He should keep the gloves despite the arrival of Jason Brown on loan from Blackburn. Lloyd Sam replaced Sanchez Watt early in the second half against the Swans and will be eager to start as will Ross McCormack following two substitute appearances since his arrival from Cardiff. Fellow new signings Ramon Nunez and Amdy Faye will be hoping to make the squad and Mike Grella, Jason Crowe and Leigh Bromby are all expected to push for places in the match-day party.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (at Doncaster today at 2:45, STREAM!) Streams will be available for the game at 2:45 PM, I'll post it here.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (at Doncaster today at 2:45, STREAM!) http://atdhe.net/24263/watch-doncaster-vs-leeds 0-0
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (at Doncaster today at 2:45, STREAM!) gatdam missed a wide open chance!
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (at Doncaster today at 2:45, STREAM!) Somma has got to put those away. He has been impressive this year though. Edit: Love hearing "Glory, Glory, Leeds United" on the road. FUUUUUUUU... goal disallowed for offsides.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (at Doncaster today at 2:45, STREAM!) so mad at disallowed goal. but it was the right call
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (at Doncaster today at 2:45, STREAM!) Also lots of Leeds fans there.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (at Doncaster today at 2:45, STREAM!) Well taking 1 point isn't the worst thing, but we had some real chances to take all 3. I think Bruce and Aidan White are going to see a lot more time now. Just shocking how the defense with no Naylor and Bessone didn't have any complete meltdowns.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (@ Doncaster 0:0, 9/25 Sheffield Utd) It's being reported United will sign 17 year old Elliot Kebbie. I know we have been pursuing him for a very long time but what is your opinion of him?
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (@ Doncaster 0:0, 9/25 Sheffield Utd) how has Watt looked this year?
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: (@ Doncaster 0:0, 9/25 Sheffield Utd) Honestly I dont know much about him maybe some of the other Leeds fans can help you on that one. All I know is he is fast as hell.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: 4th place and hopefully selling Johnson... It has been great to follow the team while they have been on this hot streak. Now hopefully Grayson can strengthen/clean the team up a little bit through the transfer window. Kisnorbo getting healthy in the next couple months will be a huge addition to the team. He could turn one of our weaknesses into an immediate strength. A big clash with QPR next week should be great. Hopefully it goes better than the Cardiff game.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: 4th place and hopefully selling Johnson... Been a good run, great comeback this weekend
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: 2nd place and hopefully selling Johnson... Just took league leaders QPR to task with a 2-0 win.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: 2nd place and hopefully selling Johnson... saw the great result...wasnt able to follow the game since my internet was out. Hopefully we can close out strong in the 2nd half of the season.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: 2nd place and hopefully selling Johnson... Well the unbeaten streak still continues, but the last 2 results have been pretty disappointing. Blowing 2 goal leads in consecutive matches and leaving 4 points on the board hurts.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: 2nd place and hopefully selling Johnson... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1342587/Newcastle-offer-Leon-Best-bait-secure-Leeds-midfielder-Max-Gradel.html#ixzz19Xy6TGDn is Gradel legit?
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: 2nd place and hopefully selling Johnson... Becchio saved the day at the end. Too many draws lately.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help I am really happy about taking Lichaj on loan for the month. He should go into the starting 11 immediately and help the backline, Now we just need a CDM who can stop the ball every now and then.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help this. so excited to see Lichaj start
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help Well it was a good win today, but Swansea, Cardiff, and Norwich all pulled out late winners so it still leaves us in 6th.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help Fuck Wales and Norwich
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help QPR and 'Forrest are battling right now. QPR went up early on a Tommy Smith goal.. Forrest had a guy sent off and instead of setting back; attacked and got a goal to equalize.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help Forrest plays 70 minutes with 10 men and steals a point on the road.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help Fuck Forrest. They are in good position though with 2 games in hand.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help Well we get Norwich next week at Elland Road so we have a good shot to jump them. It would be nice if some luck went our way here with some of these other results.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help Snoddy. So happy he got some recognition for Scotland.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, but America is on the way to help crazy game so far, gotta hold on. LeedsLeedsLeeds
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... man so many draws...we could be in so much better position
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... Agreed. That 82' equalizer by Barnsley was killer yesterday. At least we are still top 6 and in the play-off currently, even after all these draws. Has any team ever gone from League 1 to the Premiership with only one season in championship before? I'm sure it's happened, but it can't be that common.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... I cant recall any off the top of my head but then again I didnt watch much English football prior to the early 2000s. Would be quite impressive.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... Thoughts on Lichaj thus far?
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... Has started every game so far and has played quite well. I think he messed up once and it lead to a goal, but other than that he has been pretty solid.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... Like Chilean said, he's been an instant starter for us and has been an upgrade. I'd love it if we bought him permanently or at least extend the loan to last past just one month but I don't think Aston Villa is interested in that.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... I am still pissed off today. Bradley Johnson can go to hell right now. At least Simon still went for the win when we went down 10 men, but the goals that are being let in are so soft because of just shit defending. Best scoring team in the league and one of the worst defenses. Please bring in a CM who can hold up the other team and play with Howson.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... Hope Leeds comes up. Regardless of what happens with Lichaj, I hope he gets eased into EPL ball because it'd be great to have a guy learning defense in that league. Spector doesn't count cause... Well... Good night sweet Hammerstein.
Re: Official Leeds United Thread: Sitting in 6th, Send Bradley Johnson away now... wake up early boys, there will definitely be a high quality stream since the game is on FSC+
