Saw that. Imagine what it could have been if they had gotten out of their group in the CL. I mean we could have been talking Real Madrid type money with all the new merchandise and advertisement/endorsement revenue.
There just has to be a change. You can't lose this many games you are supposed to win. Its just not good enough.
Well I'm glad I didn't wake up for that shit. Still not on board the Mourinho train yet. I mean I'll take him because he's probably our best shot at attracting top talent if we don't get back in the CL. Pochettino would be my #1 choice. Also please put anyone else besides Ed Woodward in charge of player transfers.
Lol I'm already on record that I don't think he would leave Tottenham for United anyway, and why should he at this point.
pochettino would be a great hire, but no reason to leave a team you're building something special with and will have CL football... and if we lose mou to juve or another club, esp bc we dont have cl football... :( feel so distraught right now and if we somehow do make top 4... probably will keep lvg ugh this club is killing me at the moment
Rooney didn't travel with the squad for the Europa league match and it looks like he will miss 2 months with a knee injury.
Just saw that Borthwick-Jackson is sick and unlikely to play. Looks like Joe Riley and Donald Love who just made his debut will be at the starting fullback spots.
Yeah he maybe could have brought in an extra body or two in January, but you guys have been hit with a ridiculous amount of injuries this season. No team would overcome that. At least this will force you to give some youth players a shot.
I'm just tired of him always talking about it. We have the most injuries in the league this season but it was clear in the summer that we were going to need an additional fullback. Young, Valencia, and Blind (although he's played well) aren't first position defenders and he had two windows to remedy the situation. His uncertain job status probably didn't help in the January window, but he dug his own grave and I just want him to shut up about it.
Well Rooney was just announced out for 2 months, I'm sure that the injury situation was going to be brought up whether he wanted to discuss it or not.
This isn't really the first time he's talked about it though. It was one of his main excuses during our run of bad form before the January window.
I think LvG should have been fired already, so you are preaching to the choir about him being terrible at his job. I just think the injury topic is always going to pop up when someone else gets injured, especially your form player for the past few months.
Would almost rather put Memphis up top imo. Martial has been in top form out on the wing so why mess with what's working.
LVG has overseen the two most embarrassing loses in what I'd say UTD history... Midtjylland and MK Dons
Lost in all this is how well Romero played today. Proud of that dude. Midtjylland could have had 4-5 goals.
