Looks like talks are progressing with Real where a deal worth roughly £29m will get done soon.

Now what happens after that? Unless there are some back room discussions underway seems like United will have dumped more than they brought on

 

I've also read this morning that LVG has told Chicharito that he's free to leave, and an outlet whose name I don't recall has linked him to Bayern Leverkusen.

I'm not sure what sense this makes at all. There isn't much depth at striker behind Rooney to begin with.

Rooney was awful. Memphis was awful. Romero is not trustworthy as a number 1.

 

Young shouldve been on for memphis. We have so much that we need and its going to be disappointing that we wont get it done before the window closes.

 

I seriously doubt today's performance will change anything by Tuesday at 1:00, but it's pretty obvious through the first four league games we're still lacking in some areas.

 

There's no urgency with this team. How the hell do you let the game end passing backwards when you're down?

22.28 BSTChicharito update! Reports are surfacing from Germany that the Manchester United striker will join Bayer Leverkusen, with a formal announcement to be made on Monday. The Daily Mail says that the Mexico international said his good-byes to United teammates following Sunday's defeat at Swansea will join on a three-year deal.

 

So the only other striker on the roster was apparently sold. They have to have something lined up...

Needs to learn how to use his left foot. Screwed up two solid goal scoring opportunites by forcing the ball to his right which allowed Williams to catch up and make the play.

I've seen reports that Monaco want £40m+ and a player on loan. That's a ridiculous price even this late in the window, but it's not like we have much of a choice since we are apparently incapable of signing a proven commodity. Also I know it's only been 3 games, and he's only started 2 of them, but Martial only has 1 total shot on goal this season.
