On a roll, 9 out of the last 10 With their 9th win in the last 10 games, the #Marlins are 2 over .500 for the first time since they were 36-34 on June 17, 2014.
Just hit an upper decker 451 feet Yelich crushes another upper-deck shot. Wow. Yelich had just 3 career HRs at #Marlins Park before this year. Now has 4 total, 3 at home
16 game hitting streak ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo 6s7 seconds ago Marcell Ozuna: 7 HR in 37 games this season. Ozuna hit his 7th HR in his 93rd game of last season.
Stanton's inability to adjust his approach at the plate when in a slump might be one of the more frustrating on field issues in recent marlins history. When he's bad, hes really bad. Guy can't even make contact right now
Miami Marlins Thread: brb Being Sued http://www.miaminewtimes.com/news/m...rs-vendors-bankrupted-by-small-crowds-8475702 Axelband isn't alone. In fact, the Marlins have sued at least nine season ticketholders and luxury suite owners since 2013. That virtually never happens in sports, experts say. Two stadium vendors are also locked in court battles with the team, both alleging the Marlins promised robust crowds and then didn't deliver.
i think my favorite part of the article was when they mentioned a couple other examples of a team trying to do this and one was Dan Snyder trying to sue over 100 season ticket holders during the recession.
And then backing down. Fucking amazing. Loria, the only man who makes Dan Snyder look like a non horrific human being.
Does this double as the official Miami thread? I may be moving there for 2.5 months this summer. I could use some help with information and shit.
Mostly where to move. It's an internship, but I'll still have two night classes. I think this is the address for the agency: 5301 Blue Lagoon Dr, Miami, FL 33126 And the school is in Wynwood. I found two places on airbnb that are decent, but I'm just kinda dicking around at this point.
what is your budget, will you have a car, what type of commute are you willing to take on, etc. The area of your classes/internship isn't great. I am sure there is some plenty of cheap apartments/whatever available to rent right around there but again, the area isn't the best.
Is 1500 reasonable or naw? I'll have a car. I'd rather be closer to the agency since I'll be going there 9-5 every day. Hopefully less than a 20 minute commute, I can take public trans if that's an option as well.
It really isn't an option. Public transportation isn't good at all in Miami unless your job is within .5 of a mile of your job and home. Where exactly would you be staying for $1,500 a month?
right, but what location, because someone else can correct me if I am wrong, but $1,500 by the airport seems like a bit much
Oh sorry, that's my max. I'd like to stay under. One neighborhood was Westchester and the other was Coral Gables. I just hopped on Zillow too
assuming it is in coral gables(because cross the wrong street and everything is shitty), $1,500 is very reasonable, but your commute will be about 30ish minutes due to traffic. don't know anything about westchester
pretty much everything in the area of your job unfortunately and brickell which is in your area is going to be way too expensive. You are kind of in a bad spot in terms of price range/wanting to be close to your job. maybe three stacks can help out a bit more
perfect. instead of clogging the thread further, if it's ok i'll occasionally pop in if i find an apartment i'm interested in.
Jose with 12k's in 7 innings. I guess we are going to have to wait another year before Bo MFer posts ITT
