Morse has been pretty underwhelming with the bat He makes first base look like a hard position to play somehow
story of this season so far. hitting with RISP has been putrid while opponents are able to capitalize almost every night
11 hits but not enough timely. Amazing we aren't jumping all over teams with our lead off guy playing the way he is
Looks like the same old Marlins with Juan Pierre leading off. How 1-3 haven't produced more runs is beyond me. We desperately need better bats.
can't catch a fucking break. so frustrating good luck picking up 5 runs against harvey when the ump is giving him anything close to the plate
would be nice to get that low and away corner Harvey has been getting (you know the one that has been a strike for Harvey but called a ball right before Tejada hit the bases clearing double). or instead to actually make a big defensive play for once. obviously this team isn't playing good baseball. just saying it would be nice to get a couple favorable bounces to help break this funk.
I mean there have been highlight defensive plays all over the field this season. Most plays we have a shot at mako in the field we make it seems. Other than salty of course. How about our pitchers just don't get thrown around the yard? We have already given up 3 different 7run innings. That's retarded.
Oh I'm not trying to paint a rosy picture for his play but honestly I expected a slow start from Stanton with the contract and that injury and the mask. It's yelich turning into a K machine that's been much more of a surprise to me at least.
Herald reporting Reddys just already may be in jeopardy and that AAA manager Wally Backman is a name that may have already been discussed
@Ken_Rosenthal: Threat of #Marlins firing Redmond be first test of how much Loria trusts top execs Hill and Jennings, who took over at end of ’13. @Ken_Rosenthal: Loria has said he is much more comfortable with his restructured front office. Neither Hill nor Jennings wants Redmond fired, sources say.
