And i don't know how much I'll blame just cold bats. In hockey it's disheartening as hell when you know you can't count on your goalie(s). I can just as easily see issues where the lineup is pissed (and thus not in the right frame of mind) when they know their pitchers are unreliable.

But it's not a game to game thing. It becomes engrained knowing night in and night out you wot get support on the other side. It's a team mindset not a game to game one.

And as a counter to your post...we haven't won a game scoring less than 6 runs either. Hell one game we had to win 10-9 in extras.

Anyway yes the bats started ice cold but our pitchers aren't putting the team in a position to make them more likely to snap out of it. It's a sucky mindset.

Just looked up attendance numbers, the last time the Rays had higher attendance in a season than the Fish, 2010. That is incredible, your franchise managed to one-up one of the most poorly run team's in baseball.
