I swear to god if they get Nick and Jess back together next season I'm going to burn this motherfucker to the ground
This is like saying he is the dumbest genius in the room But its not shocking since he interacts with the show cancer known as Jessica Day
Hello, first time poster in the New Girl thread. I just binge watched the entire series. One of my favorite shows ever. It made me really happy to read this thread and discover that my TMB friends enjoy Coach and Reagan, but are not crazy about that Jessica Day. The talent between the leading three guys is truly incredible. I can never decide on a favorite.
Also, I have to say that the scene where Nick and Jess discuss the popcorn machine for the bar is one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen on television. It absolutely destroyed me to tears.
Yep Loved that it worked out between Schmidt and Cecilia. Loved the last two episodes with True Americans and the wedding. Wish Reagan would be on all the time because she's just the most gorgeous woman.
That means a lot, friend. I must admit this show is one of my all time favorites, top 10 for sure and possibly top 5. Just a bunch of lovable and hilarious characters :)
It was a lovely feeling... OOOOOHHHHHHHHHH I FORGOT... The episode with tenniversary or whatever Schmidt calls it... One of my favorite scenes ever is the one that has "Save Me" by Queen just because Schmidt was going to play that for Nick. So perfect for those two.
That's kinda what I did. Rainy day at the beach so I Netflix it bc a friend said it was good. Finished 4 seasons in a few days. Always thought it was a chick show.
Megan Fox Returning to New Girl for Major Season 6 Stint So… Nick and Reagan’s summer in New Orleans apparently went well. Megan Fox has signed on to return to New Girl in Season 6 for a huge arc (as many as eight episodes!), TVLine has learned exclusively. In the Fox comedy’s Season 5 finale, Nick (Jake Johnson) informed Jess (Zooey Deschanel) that he intended to spend three months in the Big Easy with sorta-girlfriend Reagan (Fox) as she adjusts to her new job. However, when Nick reappears at the loft at the start of Season 6 don’t expect Reagan to be on his arm. Sources confirm that the character won’t resurface until midseason. (A fall return was ruled out in light of the fact that Fox is due to give birth to her third child with husband Brian Austin Green any day now). The actress joined New Girl last fall to temporarily fill the void left by leading lady Zooey Deschanelduring her maternity leave. Her run was so well received that producers booked her for additional episodes later in the season, including the May finale. New Girl‘s sixth season premieres Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 8:30/7:30c on Fox.
how in the fucking world has that woman had 2 children (soon 3) and still looks like that? thats fucking retarded.
That's fantastic news! I like looking at her and I actually like her character a lot. I hope they end up together and it makes Jess miserable before she moves to Portland and then Fox and Coach move back into the loft and we need to figure out how Cecilia and Schmidt stay too but we can make it work!!
Going to tell my wife about Reagan coming back next season when she gets home from work and test this out
That was the only extended period with terrible writing... Every single episode was like this: -Nick screws up -Jess is disappointed -Nick apologizes, everything is ok -Repeat next week I was worried they would do the same with Cecilia and Schmidt, but that writing was legit., so hopefully they learned from it all. Jess is a little better when she's a single loser than when she's terrible in a relationship.
My girlfriend doesn't go to bed without at least watching ten minutes of this show. The "Taking Care of Business" rendition at the bar to close one episode sends me into giggly convulsions.
Enjoyed having this show back. I'm holding out hope that they don't screw up Nick and jess again. But the other characters are good enough to carry it
You guys, I just want to say that if I win, some things are going to come out about me. Just ride it out
Didn't realize this show was back. Caught it on before the VP debate. Already went back and watched the first two episodes of the season. Hoping to get some Coach in here sometime soon.
I lost it at this part. Just how serious he looked when explaining this. Hands casually together and everything.
they're "going to NY" next week. don't know if they'll have time to get him in since its the crossover ep with Brooklyn 99
Last nights episode finally brought it. I thought the others had their moments but last nights was the best of the season IMO.
Agreed, I didn't care for the Nine-Nine crossover. Schmidt losing his mind over the decorating ("It's not a Christmas cookie!") killed me.
