Yeah, that was definitely PI as well. Just further evidence that NFL officials literally have no idea what they are doing. I'd like to know where this defense was during the first half in Detroit and last week in Washington.
interference calls are one of the most difficult calls to make just needs to be reviewable and needs to adopt the college rule of a 15 yd penalty instead of a spot foul
blatant to us because we get to see replays and such not blatant to somebody on the field that might not have a great angle to the play going full speed
Are you seriously sticking up for NFL referees right now? They get worse every year. If those two aren't PI then I don't know what is. They go full speed on every down, they get paid to make calls under those conditions. There is more then one official looking at the play, one of them has to be able to spot it.
He already sacked himself earlier in the game too, that was nice. He saw the pressure coming so just kind up stepped up and went to the ground.
So far at home we've literally bent over the Steelers and the Vikings. Those are some pretty solid results. If only Matthews hadn't fumbled away the win at Detroit we'd be looking supremely tits right now.
Agholor is a total bust. Just like I called it before the season started. Wentz has no talent to throw to at all.
Depends on what they have to give up. I'd much rather see them address the secondary with Brooks' injury.
Tough loss to swallow when you have two chances to put the game away. Go up 10, get them on a 3 and out, then fumble the first offensive play. Then, and I think this was worse than the fumble, on a 3rd and long in FG range (it was gonna be 50+ but Sturgis showed he had no problem with that last night), you run a play where you go backwards with the ball. That was the worst part of the game IMO.
too many horizontal passes. The lack of WR talent was on full display last night. Agalhor is a bitch.
