Silvio Berlusconi: "I hope that Galliani can convince @MrAncelotti to come to Milan. I'm optimistic, and so is Galliani."
Don't do this to yourself. Let's reconvene at the end of the summer transfer window and take inventory then.
http://www.espnfc.us/ac-milan/story...arlo-ancelotti-has-turned-down-coaching-offer AC Milan say Carlo Ancelotti has turned down coaching offer A disappointing season for Real Madrid by their lofty standards, having failed to win La Liga or the Champions League and the campaign ending with the sacking of manager Carlo Ancelotti. Carlo Ancelotti has turned down the opportunity to return to coach AC Milan next season, the Serie A club have announced on Tuesday. The former Real Madrid coach had held talks with Milan's general manager Adriano Galliani in Madrid last week, but after taking a few days to consider the offer, he called Galliani on Tuesday night to say he was turning him down. Instead, the 55-year-old is expected to take a one-year break from the game to cure a long-standing back problem. He is due to undergo surgery in Vancouver later this week. "Carlo Ancelotti has informed Milan that he cannot be the coach of the Rossoneri first team next season," read a statement on acmilan.com. Ancelotti led Milan to two Champions League titles in an eight-year spell before going on to win trophies with Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real. He was relieved of his duties in Madrid last weekend after failing to win the Primera Division and missing out on a successful defence of their Champions League title. Milan will now pursue other avenues in their search for a new coach, while it has not been totally excluded that current coach Filippo Inzaghi, who still has a year left to run on his contract, will be confirmed in his position. He and former coach Clarence Seedorf are still on the wage bill until 2016. The other candidates are believed to be Sinisa Mihajlovic, who stepped down as coach of Sampdoria on Monday, or Cristian Brocchi, who would be following the same path as Inzaghi by being promoted from the youth team to the first team if he were to be installed.
Hi yes we are apparently half Thai now and "supposedly" we are buying players this summer. Rumor is Galliani is in Porto for Jackson Martinez
Keef It's happening! Ibra + Martinez is one fucking awesome start to the summer... I want some help at CB and in the mid field
Haha who fell for Galliani? you Bankz I won't believe anyone is signed until they suit up at this point.
Carlos Bacca from Sevilla, I'll believe Witsel when I see it, he's a good player and we of course had a chance to sign him 2 years ago for 15m
There is no hope until Berlusconi and Galliani are out of the picture. It is as simple as that... Milan will not be great again until they are gone, and the club may not be great again for decades regardless... It's not easy to rebuild everything that Milan has lost in the last 8 years.
fucking punch me in the nuts for a week... Mexes back... till 2016. FML Why not just give Roma the 20m
$30mil for Romagnoli means someone at Milan may be legitimately retarded. He is no Marquinhos or Benatia at this moment.
Adriano and Bacca were starters at their last club and really productive. Bacca is really good, but he will have no resale value. Romagnoli and Bertolacci would have been coming off the bench and Roma might get $50 mil for them.
Seems like someone at Roma is finally teaching Szczesny about positioning and not running off of his line like an idiot every time
@paolo_bandini: Wojciech Szczęsny in goal and Gervinho on the wing. It's like I'm back at the Emirates circa 2011.
Should finally be Roma's year, but I guess Juventus will be a different side once they get their midfielders and Moratta healthy.
To be fair, Pirlo couldn't carry a midfield with Padoin. But yes, you are correct. No excuse for selling Vidal.
Silvio can be pissed all he wants but the problem is Galliani. The game is owned in the midfield and Milan's midfield lacks all type of creativity and pace. He's never getting rid of Galli so were never going to be good again. 150+ million investment or not
