SempreMilan @SempreMilancom 4m4 minutes ago #Galliani is back in Milan, along with #Pjaca's agent. Decisive hours in the race between #Juve and #ACMilan. [GdS] Would be very excited for this start to the midfield
I read that the Milan deal is held up by paperwork and probably won't be completed until next week. Will some other team swoop in and steal Pjaca now? Edit: Reports are that Juventus swooped in and signed him.
According to most of the sources, the player actually chose Juventus over Milan. They didn't so much hijack the deal as the two clubs were competing to sign him all along. Milan has fallen so far that a player would rather sit on Juventus' bench than be a guaranteed starter for Milan. It's really great times.
if it werent for his amazing free kicks I would say Paredes, Strootman, and Gerson would make Pjanic's departure not very important.
Had to do a double take, then looked at the goal scorers and saw Dzeko, Salah and Iturbe and I was like wow, they didn't take it easy at all!
It was a mix of starters, players back from loan, and youth players and they subbed 11 at half. Of course this team probably has day jobs that aren't related to soccer. They were mostly toying with the other team. Gerson looks so smooth with the ball. That kid is going to be a name to remember and glad Roma stole him from Barca.
Milan has not been sold, and to me it appears that the deal is all but dead. Further- Milan has sold to date a total of 6,000 season tickets. That's 6,000/82,000 seats in the San Siro. To say Milan is in an absolute crisis would be a complete understatement at this point.
what reason have the fans been given to pay to watch that shit team? They haven't been sold Galliani is still making the player moves They haven't spent a dollar and rumors are they have no budget... like 0 dollars to spend.
I'm glad they aren't buying tickets. The season will be another new low under Berlusconi, but I would rather it pressure him into selling than hanging on. We've already ruined yet another transfer market with no realistic chance to get better at this point. It's shambolic.
Got excited when Roma signed Mario Rui. Today it was announced he tore his ACL. That makes 3 players just this summer.

Now that we are in August I dont know if I'm excited or scared for this season. They really need to hurry up and figure out the defense, but right now I expect to finish in the very familiar 2nd place position. Pjanic is a loss but Strootman, Paredes, and Gerson should make up for him. GK- Woj is returning and Alisson joins. Upgrade. RB- Still Florenzi with no backup CB Manolas, Rudiger(injured for a few months), Juan Jesus, and ????? maybe DDR LB- Now that Rui is out who the fuck knows? CM Nainggolan, De Rossi, Strootman, Gerson, Paredes, Vanquier. Pretty damn happy about that midfield. Forwards- Salah, Perrotti, SES, Dzeko, Totti, Ponce, Sadiq, Ricci. Basically same attack as last year that finished with the most goals ever in the league and now get a full season of SES and Perrotti. Also apparently Dzeko is looking like he might be starting instead of sitting on the bench.
There won't really be a challenge for the Scudetto with Juventus on a different level unless they suffer a series of injuries. Their depth is ridiculous, though, and should allow them to challenge in Europe and repeat again in Italy. 2nd and a Quarter-Final appearance in the CL for Roma would be a very good season. Napoli third. That will be Italy's pecking order until the Milan clubs get their shit together. Milan, IMO, will not be competitive at any point in the near future. So long as Berlusconi owns the club and Galliani calls the shots- there is no hope whatsoever.
It's gonna be hard to compete with Juve until other teams get their own stadiums. Roma is trying but it's basically an uphill battle and the hill is a cliff.
So for Milan probably a mid table Serie A finish? It sucks that a great club like Milan will exceed expectations by qualifying for Europa League.
This makes me so sad. The RoyalShocker I knew was always positive, telling me how Milan would catch Madrid and the first 5 European titles didnt count anyway. Call me old, but I miss the days when Ajax, Celtic and Milan were always fighting in the UCL.
There was a time when it seemed possible :( I'm going to go with your strategy of just picking multiple top clubs to follow from now on. Seems a better plan! Probably 7-10 I would say.
Not expecting anything this summer, if so ill be pleasantly surprised. Expecting more of a push in January
Very little is normally done in the winter. The have to make some move now. Especially in the midfield.
I just don't know that the funds will be ready in time for this summer, I hope so. I mentioned winter because that is what most of the groups online were reporting.
Tancredi Palmeri is just horrendous all around. His transfer market takes are wrong 99 percent of the time, and that may be generous.
Was perusing today's match ups when I noticed Bologna was playing some side named Crotone. Never heard of them, seems this is their first season in Serie A. That is always neat when it happens. Under 10k seat stadium along the southern coast.
