I hope South Park knows when to stop unlike the Simpsons. It's painful watching my all time favorite show die a long, painful death.
well south park has been dying a slow and painful death in other news, 'chicken fucker' is on and i haven't seen it in years
once in a while the simpsons will still come up with a good show, at least more consistently than family guy or american dad. right now though, cleveland show >>>>those 3
The biggest issue with this past season was how it coincided with the Book of Mormon. They basically formulated the ideas and wrote every episode in just a few days of the week it televised. Every set of episodes normally, there's maybe 1 like that where they throw something together quickly depending on a current event, but not going to work for an entire season. I think we'll see an improvement next set of episodes, but who knows what level it will get back to. Plus, they were actually writing the Book of Mormon seriously for about the past 2 years.
man I just don't believe that. I try to catch King of the Hill on Fox at 5:30 and The Simpsons is on at 5 so I usually catch a bit of that. Nothing worse than looking at the program guide and seeing that it's a Simpsons episode from the post-2004
the 2nd half of the season will start on Oct 5th. on Oct. 9th comedy central will have a show on how they make an episode in just 6 days. should be interesting
and i need more people to bring up the fact that southparkstudios.com videos arent embedding on the new site. so previews wont be available until they are on youtube and people rarely put them on youtube. so donors need to go to the forum suggestions and reply in my thread i made like a month ago about getting that site embedded.
you can but i always just put the url of the preview clip and it showed on tmb. now it just shows up as a link. its not a big deal but its not as nice has just having it in this thread

thought it had some funny parts. as far as the story, i have no clue where they will go. i just want cartman and randy episodes
Wasn't laugh out loud funny for the most part, but it was clever. I did lose it every time the Laurence Fishburn guy kept calling them aliens or robots or whatever .. fuck you.
Matrix stuff was ok, but enjoyed the episode. Agree with a lot of people saying it didn't really have any laugh out loud moments, but was still funny.
They should have had some ESPN broadcasters (Berman, Craig James) spraying shit out of their mouths too. Would have been extremely accurate/hilarious
